Yesterday afternoon, Sheng Shihao, deputy director of the Propaganda Department of the Provincial CPC Committee and chairman of the Provincial Federation of Social Sciences, came to Yao to investigate the protection of historical and cultural heritage. Sheng Shihao and his party came to Sanqi Town and successively inspected the ruins of the ancient rice paddy field in Shi'ao, the ruins of Tianluo Mountain, and the ruins of Jingtou Mountain. Everywhere he went, Sheng Shihao listened carefully to the introduction of archaeologists about the site, learned more about the excavation process, archaeological achievements, cultural relics protection and other related conditions of the site, and visited the excavated cultural relics with great interest.

Sheng Shihao fully affirmed the archaeological excavations and historical and cultural heritage protection work in our city, and highly praised the value of the site.
