It is said that marriage is a matter of two people, and it is difficult for either party to blame it.
But Yang Mi Liu Kaiwei is still quite thick, on the surface did not tear the skin, to save face for both sides, the posture is still gracefully walked down from the palace of marriage.
But in the 1930s, there was a couple who was extremely tormented. The little three took the position, separated from each other, and then reported to each other to expose each other, and finally ended up with two dislikes and divorce.
They are Yu Dafu and Wang Yingxia.

In the group of writers in the Republic of China, Yu Dafu is a strange person. The article is well written, but the private morality, especially the relationship between men and women, is simply a mess.

His son Yu Fei once said of Yu Dafu:
My father was a man with obvious strengths and weaknesses, he loved the country and was very enthusiastic about his friends, but he was too impulsive to behave in the world, so that his family and life were very unpleasant. He was not a saint, just a man of letters.
Yu Fei is the crystallization of Yu Dafu's second marriage, and his mother is Wang Yingxia, which is the other protagonist of our story today.
Wang Yingxia, a native of Hangzhou. Her maternal grandfather was Wang Ernan, a famous scholar in Hangzhou. Wang Yingxia is educated, can write a few small poems, and can be regarded as a talented woman. After graduating from Zhejiang Women's Normal School, she became a primary school teacher. At the time, it was a very good job.
But what is more well known than her talents may be her beauty.
How beautiful is Wang Yingxia?
At that time, there was a saying that Wang Yingxia's skin was white, as white as the water chestnut, that is, the horse's hoof. Therefore, Wang Yingxia also has a nickname called "water chestnut white".
Some good deeds also wrote a poem about oil, saying:
"The number of women in the world is SuHang, and the number of women in Suzhou and Hangzhou is Yingxia.".
This is not a low evaluation. However, it is also realistic, even if you look at the old photos of Wang Yingxia when she was young, you can also see her exquisite and delicate Jiangnan American style.

The little three ascended to the throne and eventually became a couple
On January 14, 1927, Yu Dafu and Wang Yingxia met at Sun Baigang's home.
Sun Baigang was a friend of Yu Dafu, and on this day, he invited Yu Dafu to come to his home as a guest. Coincidentally, Wang Yingxia also came to talk to Sun Baigang's wife. When the two people saw each other, they immediately looked at each other, and they were a little confused.
Uddhav described the situation as follows:
From Guanghua, he went to a fellow villager in Shangxian in the Fa-rectification circle, Sun Jun (referring to Sun Baigang), where he met Madam Wang Yingxia of Hangzhou. My heart was disturbed by her again. This matter should be carried out with all his might, and he should be a permanent friend with her.
This love is immoral. Because Uddhav was already married and had three children. But when he met Wang Yingxia, Yu Dafu lost his mind, and he began to pursue Wang Yingxia madly.
Yu Dafu's way of chasing girls is very simple, that is, to play his own strengths and write love letters. One letter a day, or even several times a day. The love letters are written with sincerity and enthusiasm.
What about Wang Yingxia? She is actually a little moved.
After all, Yu Dafu is already a well-known writer, although his appearance is not proud, he is polite and thoughtful.
Wang Yingxia especially liked Yu Dafu's book "Sinking". In her later autobiography, she described her encounter with Uddhav as if a fan had met an idol.

But if you are with a husband with a wife, it is still not good to pass it out. Wang Yingxia rejected Yu Dafu and decided to return to her hometown in Hangzhou to avoid Yu Dafu's pursuit.
Yu Dafu was in a hurry, and even rushed to Hangzhou himself.
In their hometown in Hangzhou, Yu Dafu and Wang Yingxia's maternal grandfather saw each other as they were and talked happily. As soon as his grandfather made a decision, he asked Wang Yingxia to marry Yu Dafu.
Now it seems that Wang Yingxia is undoubtedly the third in the small position.
On June 5, 1927, Yu Dafu and Wang Yingxia were officially engaged at the Jufengyuan Restaurant in Hangzhou. Yudaf wrote in his diary:
And the matter of Yingxia was fixed tonight. After that, it is time to deal with the problem of Tsuen Jun.
This Tsuen Jun was none other than Yu Dafu's original grandson. Sun Quan was abandoned for no reason, naturally very sad, but Yu Dafu had already made up his mind. The two did not divorce, just separated. Sun Quan lives alone with three children, and Yu Dafu pays monthly alimony.

But the two people have not been sweet for long, and there is a contradiction. The source of the contradiction is nothing else, but Uddhav's book!
Yu Dafu published a copy of the Nine Diaries. As the world knows, Uddhav likes to keep a diary. However, this book is the intimate diary of Yu Dafu and Wang Yingxia's life, and the degree of intensity can be called the most popular in the Republic of China.

On March 20, I talked to her all night, slept all night, and kissed her mouth countless times. But neither of them broke through the last line of defense, so it was not chaotic.
Wang Yingxia learned that her boudoir's private affair was actually publicly accepted by her husband, and she could not accept it at all, and almost wanted to quit marriage.
But then she didn't mention it, because the income from "Nine Kinds of Diaries" suddenly made their family middle class.
You can imagine how much money it is. Wang Yingxia once said:
At that time, our family's monthly expenditure was 200 yuan for Yinyang, and our family ate better than Lu Xun's family.

With this money, Yu Dafu and Wang Yingxia moved the idea of moving.
On April 25, 1933, the family moved to Hangzhou. Three years later, they built a small bungalow with Chinese and Western styles next to the Zhejiang Library, which they called "Wind and Rain Maolu".
In the wind and rain hut, a pair of gods and immortals, very loving. But behind the love, there is the outbreak of real contradictions between two people.
The root of the contradiction is the personality of the two people.
Uddhav
Wang Yingxia likes to be lively and sociable. There are people, things and things that she is familiar with, and she can be described as a fish in Hangzhou. She soon became a star in Hangzhou's high social circles.
But Uddhav was different. He was a man of letters, preferring to hide in his hut and write with a pen than to interact with the bureaucracy.
He was not satisfied with Wang Yingxia's all-day dealings with others, and Wang Yingxia was not satisfied with Yu Dafu's cold nature and heavy drinking every day. The two men began to quarrel, but reconciled.
Perhaps to escape the official exchanges in Hangzhou, or perhaps the money was spent, in early 1936, Yu Dafu decided to go to Fuzhou to take up a post, while Wang Yingxia stayed in the wind and rain.
When the two places are separated like this, the feelings of husband and wife are naturally alienated.

Wang Yingxia, who stayed in Hangzhou, naturally has her own way of life. The wind and rain became the living room of her wife who received guests. Every day, people come and go, and dignitaries come and go, so it is not busy.
According to the Japanese historian Yoshio Masai, who had been to the "Stormy Hut" in those years, he recalled:
(Wang Yingxia) is so beautiful that she is almost like a movie star, which makes a deep impression on me. ...... She frequently toasted to me as the host at the table, and when she said, "Mr. Masai, toast," she turned the dried wine glass upside down to show me, which was indeed the appearance of socializing.
There were two regular customers in the wind and rain hut, and Wang Yingxia had a very good relationship, and there were even some unpleasant rumors circulating. They were Xu Shaodi, then director of the Kuomintang's Zhejiang Provincial Party Department, and Dai Kasa, the head of the secret service.

Yu Dafu later recalled Lu Xun's article:
Because I did not listen to his advice, I finally moved to Hangzhou. As a result, as he expected, he was wanted by a gentleman who was wanted by the party department, and his family was destroyed.
This "Mr. Dangbu" is Xu Shaodi.
At the end of 1937, Hangzhou fell, and Yu Dafu was still far away in Fuzhou. Wang Yingxia could only take three children and her old mother with xu Shaodi, who was widowed at the time, to Lishui for refuge.
In this way, all kinds of gossip rumors are flying in the sky.
Yu Dafu naturally heard about it, and he was half-convinced at this time. He was anxious to return to his wife.
Three "love letters" to break the family
In January 1938, Yu Dafu was invited by Guo Moruo to go to Wuhan. He took The Road to Lishui, but found that his wife was already with Xu Shaodi!
Yu Dafu gave Wang Yingxia two choices, one was to save the family and go to Wuhan with him, and the other was to live with Xu Jun permanently.
Wang Yingxia chose to go to Wuhan. The family was finally together again.
But Uddhav's heart was full of suspicion and distrust of his wife. He felt that his wife was because Xu Shaodi did not want to get married, so he "bid farewell to Xu Jun with tears."
Wang Yingxia's statement was different, and she later repeatedly stressed that she and Xu Shaodi were living together, which was purely a rumor.
In Wuhan, life is not good. Two people fight all day for a little thing.
On July 5, 1938, after a major quarrel, Wang Yingxia ran away from home. However, Yu Dafu turned over three love letters from her and Xu Shaodi, and in one breath, took these three love letters to the photo studio and engraved and printed many copies, and distributed them to relatives and friends.
He even wrote a few words on a piece of clothing left by Wang Yingxia:
"The remnants of the concubine Wang Clan before they remarry."
It hurts. He also used Wang Yingxia's least favorite word: concubine.
Yu Dafu was still angry, and he also wrote to Chiang Kai-shek and Chen Lifu, accusing Xu Shaodi of destroying their families. Finally, he also published a notice of search for people in the "Ta Kung Pao", which became known to the whole world.
Ms. Wang Yingxia Jian: The clutching of men and women in a chaotic world is normal. Ru's relationship with a certain king, and the fine soft clothes and cash deeds he brought with him, etc., were not a problem, but Ru's mother and children missed it very much and begged for an address. Yu Dafu respectfully enlightened.
It's too ugly to tear up.
Later, under the mediation of friends, the two people reluctantly reconciled. The storm came to an end with an apology in the Uddhavden newspaper, and the two men signed a letter of agreement.
Later, Wang Yingxia once wrote an article "My Marriage with Yu Dafu changed the inside story", clarifying that she wanted to be a matchmaker for Xu Shaodi, so the two corresponded.
But did she really not have the slightest love for Xu Shaodi?
Wang Yingxia avoided talking about it, but only quoted someone else's comment on this:
"I am sure that their relationship is limited to the correspondence between love and farewell."
Even so, this is already a spiritual infidelity for marriage.
Destroy the family poetry, destroy the marriage
In 1939, Wang Yingxia, who was in Singapore, received a magazine, "Gale" published in Hong Kong. It contains 18 poems and one poem by Uddhav.

Yu Dafu named this group of poems "The Chronicle of the Destruction of the Family". Uddhav concludes by writing:
After all, Xu Jun was my friend, and he raped my wife, which was naturally much stronger than the enemy to rape. And at present, these personal small things can only be put aside for the time being, and what matters is that they are still taking revenge for our nation!
I don't know what kind of state of mind Yu Dafu wrote the poem, completely disregarding Wang Yingxia's face.
He made the mistake of writing "Nine Kinds of Diaries" and brought his private affairs to the public.
Wang Yingxia was angry and also made a counterattack. She wrote two articles, titled "Please Look at the Facts" and "The Beginning of a Long Letter," which were published in a later issue of Gale. Wang Yingxia said:
For the sake of the children, for the promises made twelve years ago, for the sake of not wanting to make you infamous, I barely managed to maintain the remnants of this family, and drowned out all your ugly deeds, but you are a person who deceives the good and fears the evil, and you have to expose your skinned beast heart in a state of intolerability.
A loving couple making such a fuss is really ugly. In March 1940, Yu Dafu and Wang Yingxia officially divorced, and a generation of immortal couples ended.
To say that in this war between husband and wife, which side is right and which side is wrong, it is impossible to say. It may be Wang Yingxia who may start wrong, because she empathizes with other people. But then it was Yu Dafu's fault that he did not give both sides a minimum of decency, and repeatedly broke the news in the newspaper, which made the two extremely embarrassed.
The discord between the two people's personalities was also the main factor, and Wang Yingxia later said:
What I wanted was a stable home, and Yudaf could only be friends with him and not husband and wife. So the biggest difference with Uddhav is that I have a different personality from him.
But in the final analysis, it is two people who do not regard marriage as a sacred thing at all, and are willing to give patience and love to maintain it.
When the contradiction occurs, the most correct solution is not found, but the two sides complain to each other and tear each other apart, so that no matter how deep the love, it will eventually disappear.
Isn't Yang Mi Liu Kaiwei also like this? How can the two places be separated for many years, and how can they connect feelings? Both sides are too busy with work to take care of each other's feelings. Their divorce is also inevitable.
This attitude of treating marriage as a child's play is not strange if it is not divorced.
