On January 13, 1989, the day of the Lapa Festival, The 3-year-old Sun Xiaohu and his sister were playing in the snow near Xi'an University South Road, and then the sister ran back to tell Sun Xiaohu's mother, Xie Guochun, that the little tiger was gone!
After the child was abducted, Sun Xiaohu's parents (Sun Chang'an and Xie Guochun) traveled to Henan, Shandong, and Anhui, traveling to eight provinces and dozens of counties and towns, and saw many children who had been abducted, but none of them were their sons.

In February 1991, Sun Chang'an (Sun Xiaohu's father), who was still searching for his child, received news that there was an abducted child in Xingyang, Henan Province, who was very similar to Sun Xiaohu, and the child was suspected of being abused.
Sun Chang'an, with the help of the government and the police station, climbed the mountain for more than 20 miles and found the child in a small cave halfway up the mountain. Sun Chang'an could see at a glance that this child was not a little tiger. However, looking at the scarred child, Sun Chang'an was heartbroken, and after consulting with his wife, the couple decided to recognize the child.
After that, the couple "settled" the name and date of birth of the little tiger on the child's body, healed the child's injuries, and celebrated his birthday.

In 2020, the 15th child named Guo Wang, who was born in Xi'an, Shaanxi Province, about July 1986, was transferred to Xinxiang City, Henan Province in October 1988. When the volunteers saw Guo Wang's photo, they found: Guo Wang's hair was curly! It was exactly the same as when Sun Chang'an was young!
A month later the comparison results came out,

Guo Wang, 34, who now lives in Xinxiang City, Henan Province, initially did not know he was a kidnapped child, until this year he learned from his adoptive father that he had been bought for 3,300 yuan. So he began to look for his own biological parents.
