He was the founding major general of our new China, and he was also a very loyal communist fighter; after the founding of the People's Republic of China, he was also entrusted with important tasks, and successively held many important positions, such as the director of the Aircraft Navigation Department of the Civil Aviation Bureau of the Central Military Commission, the manager of the Chinese Civil Aviation, the deputy commander of the Air Force of the Wuhan Military Region, etc. And her wife was also an old Red Army, who served as the political director of the Institute of Research of the Chinese Academy of Sciences.

He was Major General Fang Huai, former deputy commander of the Air Force of the Wuhan Military Region; General Fang Huai was a native of Yudu County, Jiangxi Province; he joined the Children's Regiment when he was a child, and then he joined the Red Army not long after; in the subsequent agrarian war, Fang Huaina performed very well, so that he was soon promoted by my superiors, and successively served as an officer of the field hospital of the First Red Army, a youth officer of the regimental political department, and the chief of the youth section of the division's political department.
After the outbreak of the War of Resistance Against Japan, the Air Force was established, and Fang Huai was selected as the first batch of Red Army flight cadets, which was a very good opportunity, and in the subsequent flight study process, General Fang Huai could be said to have worked very hard, because he knew that this was a sacred mission entrusted to him by our party, and he must complete this task, so that he could cultivate more outstanding talents for our Communist Party in the future.
Five years later, Fang Huai was already proficient in mastering very high flying skills, but what he did not expect was that in 1942, the warlord Sheng Shicai acted perversely, and he actually chose to defect to Chiang Kai-shek, so at the behest of Chiang Kai-shek, many of our party leaders were arrested, such as Chairman Mao's brother Mao Zemin was one of them, and the pilots of our party's air force, including Fang Huai, were also arrested.
And Fang Huai and others were imprisoned for 4 years, until 1946 was successfully rescued, Fang Huai's first job after being released from prison was to be sent to the northeast to establish the first aviation school of the Chinese People's Liberation Army, this task can not be described as arduous.
In addition, the aircraft flight formation at the founding ceremony was actually handed over to Fang Huai and others at that time, and the subsequent results were undoubtedly very satisfactory.
Later, Fang Huai was successively appointed as the director of the Aircraft Navigation Division of the Civil Aviation Bureau of the +9 Military Commission, the director of the Operations Division of the Air Defense Force Headquarters, the director of the Navigation Affairs Department and the Director of the Telecommunications Department of the Civil Aviation Bureau of the Central Military Commission, and the deputy commander of the Air Force of the Wuhan Military Region.
Fang Huai's wife was Comrade Wang Yunxue of the old Red Army, and Wang Yunxue's ex-husband was also a revolutionary in our party, and he was the famous Chen Qiushi, who was later killed by Sheng Shicai in 1943.
Wang Yunxue also made his own contribution to our new China, successively serving as political director of the Institute of Sciences of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and wuhan Municipal Materials Bureau as the cadre director of the Political Department.
His son had been laid off for many years, but Fang Huai did not allow him to go to the organization and leaders to help, but proposed to let the children help each other and try not to trouble the country as much as possible.
At 9:56 on February 16, 2019, General Fang Huai, former deputy commander of the Air Force of the Wuhan Military Region and founding major general, died at the age of 102 at the General Hospital of the Central Theater of Operations in Wuhan, Hubei Province.
