The Leaning Tower of Pisa 69 years ago - the former Wulinglong Pagoda

author:Ball of poetry and far away

Linglong Pagoda, also known as Hui Pagoda and Yan Pagoda, is located in Dongguan, Yuanwu Town, Huanghe North Plain New Area, Zhengzhou, and was originally an ancillary building in the Shanhu Temple of Yuanwu Town. Linglong Tower has survived more than 10 earthquakes and was shelled by Japanese invading forces in 1938. In 1983, the relevant departments measured that the tower was tilted 13 degrees 33 minutes to the northeast. The pagoda is a pavilion-style brick tower rich in national architectural style, with beautiful shape and pleasing to the eye, which is a masterpiece of the Song Dynasty temple

The pagoda was built in the fourth year of Emperor Chongning of the Song Dynasty (1105 AD), a hexagonal thirteen-level imitation wooden structure pavilion-style brick tower, which is recorded in the ming Wanli Xin ugly year (1601) and rebuilt, with a total height of about 47.25 meters. The ancient tower levels are all odd numbers, but this tower is twelve floors, which is an even number. The reason is that since ancient times, this is a yellow pan area, the bottom floor of the tower has been silted underground, the ground can only see twelve floors, the first floor underground, the main entrance is the original tower two-story window modified, the whole tower height of about 43 meters. According to the Records of the Rebuilding of the Pagoda by Ming Wanli Xinugu (1601 AD), the original scale of the Temple of Zengo was grand, with the Great Treasure Hall and many monks. In the Qing Dynasty, the Shanhu Temple caught fire, the temple destroyed the pagoda, and the iron brake, bowl covering, and phase wheel at the top of the tower still exist.

According to the records of modern times, a small courtyard was built next to it, and the simple mountain gate was written with the three characters of the Zengo Temple to meet the scene, which looked very inappropriate. However, there is an inconspicuous courtyard door next to it that reads "Lou Shide Memorial Hall", this name will be very unfamiliar to ordinary people, but if you mention an idiom "spit on yourself", you are certainly not unfamiliar. Yes, it is this dude, there are interested in Baidu.

Linglong Pagoda has been elevated to a nationally protected cultural relic, but there are not many records about the history, origin, and related stories of the pagoda. Quietly

With the two large willows next to it, it provides a leisure place for people who have nothing to do, and it may not be a good home.
