In 2015, the project "The Legend of Xu Shen" was included in the fourth batch of henan provincial intangible cultural heritage representative project list.
In recent years, in order to better protect, inherit and develop the project, the municipal cultural center and the city's intangible cultural heritage protection center have successively established complete archives for the project, recorded the project documentary, compiled the book "The Legend of Xu Shen", held lectures and public welfare classes, etc., continuously expanding the scope of non-genetic inheritance and enhancing the influence of the project.
