On May 12, 200 doctoral students from Beijing Jiaotong University, University of Science and Technology Beijing, Beijing Forestry University, China University of Geosciences (Beijing) and other universities gathered in Xiong'an New Area to participate in the activity of "Relief of Doctors from Universities in Xiong'an". The event was hosted by the Public Service Bureau of Xiong'an New Area, which is committed to building an exchange platform for high-level talents to know, experience and integrate into Xiong'an, and further guide high-level talents to actively participate in the construction and development of Xiong'an New Area.
During the event, 200 doctoral students visited the Xiong'an Planning and Exhibition Center, the Comprehensive Service Center of the Start-up Zone, the China Telecom Smart City Industrial Park, the Xiong'an Urban Computing (Supercomputing Cloud) Center, the Science and Technology Innovation Service Center and other points to gain an in-depth understanding of the latest construction progress and scientific and technological innovation in the Xiong'an New Area, and to feel the pulse of the development of the city of the future. After the study visit, 200 doctoral students also participated in the opening ceremony of the 2nd Science and Technology, Talent and Innovation Week with the theme of "Gathering Talents and Creating the Future".
At present, Xiong'an New Area has entered the stage of paying equal attention to large-scale construction and undertaking Beijing's non-capital functions, and the focus of work has shifted to high-quality construction, high-level management, and high-quality development, providing a once-in-a-lifetime development opportunity for high-level talents. As one of the series of activities of the second Science and Technology, Talent and Innovation Week, the activity of "Relieving Doctors from Colleges and Universities in Xiong'an" is a positive measure for Xiong'an New Area to actively implement the collaborative innovation and development of colleges and universities and create a talent highland.
