In order to improve the professional quality of preschool teachers, promote the professional growth of preschool teachers and the improvement of education and teaching level, optimize the teaching team, improve the quality of education and teaching, further stimulate children's interest and curiosity in science, and cultivate children's scientific exploration ability and practical ability. On May 9, 2024, the Kindergarten Alliance of Luochang School District in Gaoxian County launched a competition in the field of science.
A total of 7 teachers participated in this competition, and the teachers carefully prepared science experiment teaching aids and brought seven unique science activities for the children. In the course of the activity, the teachers led the children to explore the scientific principles of common phenomena around them through bold conjectures, careful verification, recording and representation, etc., so as to gain a certain scientific understanding.
After six judges benchmarked the "Yibin Kindergarten Science Activity Competition Evaluation Rules", and adhered to the principle of fair and just evaluation, 3 first prizes and 4 second prizes were selected in this activity.
Finally, Xiong Min, director of the Teaching Research and Teacher Development Center of the Kindergarten Alliance of Luochang School District and director of the kindergarten in Luochang Town, summarized the activity.
