On April 23, the Great Wall Fund and Mango V Fund jointly promoted the opening of a new "Great Wall Fund Happy Music Classroom" in Leibo County, which was a special "World Book Day" gift received by the teachers and students of the local Mahu Primary School.
Mahu Primary School in Huanglang Town, Leibo County is located in Leibo County 45 kilometers northeast of the county, was founded in 1953, more than 50% of the students in the school are ethnic minorities, they have a unique national music culture, dance, folk songs, musical instruments are distinctive, simple and beautiful.
In order to light up the children's musical dreams and help inherit and carry forward the excellent traditional national culture, the Great Wall Foundation and Mango V Fund donated to build the "Great Wall Foundation Happy Music Classroom" for Mahu Primary School, and will continue to carry out music education through hardware donations and online classes in the future, and continue to provide rich and high-quality reading resources, hoping to plant the seeds of cultural self-confidence for children through aesthetic education.
In the afternoon of the same day, witnessed by representatives of the Great Wall Fund, Mango V Fund and the local government, the awarding ceremony of the "Great Wall Fund Happy Music Classroom" was officially launched.
The Great Wall Fund said that over the years, the company has adhered to the original intention of inclusive finance, actively practiced corporate social responsibility, and took helping rural education as the focus of public welfare undertakings. In order to better care for the growth and development of rural children, the Great Wall Foundation took aesthetic education as the fulcrum, officially launched the "Great Wall Fund Happy Music Classroom" public welfare project in September last year, and promoted the "Happy Music Classroom" to be implemented in Shanshu Primary School and Mahu Primary School in Leibo County, so that aesthetic education can continue to be relayed. At the "Let's Read Together" theme reading meeting, Lei Jun, assistant to the general manager of Great Wall Fund and general manager of the quantitative and index investment department, told the children the importance of education and knowledge based on his own learning and growth experience, and encouraged them to seize the good time of spring, feel the joy of reading in books, and broaden their horizons. As a front-line observer, she vividly told the touching story of rural children changing their fate through reading in the program "Metamorphosis", and encouraged the children to establish lofty ideals and work hard for them.
