On the occasion of the 9th National Security Education Day, on April 15, the Baixiang County Veterans Affairs Bureau and the Peony Community jointly carried out the publicity and education activities of the National Security Education Day.
During the event, Wang Fuhai, a veteran member of the veteran propaganda group, a veteran party member and a retired cadre, was invited to carry out a national security education theme lecture. Combined with his own military experience, Wang Fuhai shared his military experience with nearly 100 teachers and students, told the story of defending the family and the country, and combined with the background of the current era and the glorious revolutionary tradition of the Communist Party of China, he encouraged the students to study hard, establish lofty ideals, love the party and the country, and contribute to the country when they grow up, and guide young students to establish the feelings of "loving the party, the country, and the hometown" from an early age.
"Students, when the youth is strong, the country is strong! The 100-year history of the party, how many ups and downs, how many thrilling, desperate situations, turning crises into opportunities, we children in the old revolutionary base areas, we must pass on the spirit of struggle in the arduous years from generation to generation. 94-year-old Wang Fuhai said.
The students have expressed that they should cherish the current happy life more, feel the red spirit, absorb the strength of endeavor, strive for self-improvement, consciously learn, and constantly enhance their skills. We will definitely internalize the content of the lecture in our hearts and externalize it in our actions, learn from revolutionary martyrs, heroes, and advanced models, inherit the revolutionary spirit, and strive to be a new person of the times.
In the next step, the Baixiang County Veterans Affairs Bureau will continue to focus on cultivating morality, strengthening value guidance, focusing on red culture and education, by revisiting the revolutionary story, watching the development and changes of the hometown, and vigorously carrying out propaganda activities, so that the red gene can penetrate into the blood and integrate into the blood, so as to cast the soul and enlighten the heart for the healthy growth of young people.
