On the morning of April 13th, sponsored by the Guochang Community United Trade Union, together with the college student volunteer team of the School of Physical Sciences of Nanjing Normal University, relying on the community New Era Civilization Practice Station, organized trade union members and workers' families to carry out an interesting classroom activity of physics knowledge popularization in the activity room on the first floor of the Guochang community, with the help of the classroom form, to enhance the parent-child education of community workers' families and provide a service platform.
As soon as the weekend arrived, many workers and trade union members in the community began to worry about "bringing a baby". It costs too much to go to the scenic spot, and there are many people in the nearby parks and scenic belts, so it is rare to establish a comfortable communication space with your family. After receiving the demands of the majority of trade union members and workers' families, the Guochang Community United Trade Union integrates relevant community resources, connects with community service projects, and regularly organizes interesting classroom volunteer activities for the children of workers in the community, providing a good platform for trade union members and workers' families to "bring babies" on the weekend.
During the event, the volunteer team of college students from the Academy of Physical Sciences of Nanjing Normal University brought the "preliminary exploration of circuits" physics knowledge popularization and physics experiments to everyone. The majority of trade union members and their children have carefully studied the physics knowledge of relevant circuits, and have mastered the knowledge of "series", "parallel", "wire" and "resistance".
Subsequently, with the help of volunteers, the majority of members, employees and their children began to do small experiments on circuits. In the process of learning from each other, through the way of entertaining and education, we continue to enhance the relationship between families.
"The fun class is not only entertaining, but also provides a social communication channel for our staff and families, especially the children do not have to be bored at home and have no friends to play. I am very supportive of the United Union being able to hold such a fun class!", said a union member at the scene.
In the next step, the Guochang Community United Trade Union will continue to hold interesting classroom activities, guided by the demands of trade union members, and better carry out related work.
