Writing always starts with the post. I took the post more seriously when I was in my teens, probably during the summer vacation of the fifth and sixth grades of elementary school, and the first year of junior high school. In our country, one of the main contents of the "summer vacation" of such a big child is to read ancient Chinese and write.
One summer vacation, I read the Analects from my grandfather, and every morning I wrote one large and one small character, "Guifeng Tablet" in large characters, and "The Biography of the Idle and Evil Father" in small characters, both of which my grandfather selected for me. My grandfather thought I was working hard in writing, and gave me a piece of Duan inkstone with purple pork liver and more than a dozen copies of the old Tuo calligraphy: what impressed me the most was a copy of Chu Henan's "Holy Order". Wrote "Zhang Menglong". It was my father's idea. He believes that he has to write Wei Beibei in order to master the backbone and frame of the characters. When I wrote "Zhang Menglong", I used a kind of straw paper, which is not straw paper for defecation, it is very large, as big as half a newspaper, and the texture is tighter than straw paper, but the surface is quite thick. This kind of paper is not sold in the market, and I don't know where my father bought it. It is very suitable to write Wei monuments on this kind of coarse paper, and it takes extra force to move the pen. These three posts laid the foundation for my words, especially "Zhang Menglong". To this day, I can still see its influence in my words, the knots and the use of the pen. Pro posts are very comfortable and can bring peace to people. Since junior high school, I have rarely had time for the whole pile. When I was in high school, I occasionally had one or two photos, and I was exposed to the cold. After the age of 20, I went to college and rarely came to the post. Writing, in addition to the post, you also need to "read the post". Bao Shichen thought that reading the post should read the real handwriting, the stone carving is always similar, losing the spirit of the original book, unable to see the meaning of the pen, solid. Try to read "Sanxitang Fa Ti • Fast Snow and Sunny", and then go to the Forbidden City to see the original, compared with the two, it is really impossible to calculate. If you look at the real thing, you can see the relationship between paper, ink, and pen. In particular, "ink transport" and "paper and ink match" are not felt from the rubbing. However, it is rare to see authentic works, and rare national treasures like "Fast Snow and Sunny Times" and "Feng Tangerine Post" are not usually exhibited in the Forbidden City. Through a layer of glass, it is inconvenient to figure out the truth. Secondly, you can take a look at the original copy of the Kolo plate. The fine Koro version is also reticulated, and the printed characters are light and gray, which is not as calm as the original book. However, after all, consolation is much stronger than stone carvings. Reading the photocopied "Sacrifice to the Nephew", I realized that Yan Zhenqing's characters came from the two kings, smooth and chic, and not all of them were like the angular "square pen" like "Magu Xiantan";
Secondly, I had to look at the stone carvings. But it's better to have the old extension. In the past, the old extension of the word book was not very expensive, visiting the glaze factory, taking two old posts back, it is not a difficult thing. Ten years ago, I went to a shop that specialized in tablet posters, and saw a copy of "Jinhua Pavilion Post", and I asked the salesman to take it down and take a look, but the salesman stood still and only said the price. I understood what he meant: Can you afford it? I had to apologize to him: "Then I won't bother you!"
The series of posts that are relatively easy to obtain now is the "Sanxitang Fati" photocopied by the Beijing Daily Publishing House. Qianlong's "Sanxitang Fati" is a thick ink Wujin Tuo. I don't like Ujintuo, it's too dark and shiny. Beijing Daily Publishing House uses heavy coated paper to print, which makes it even more "violent" to the ink piled up on the paper. Moreover, it is divided into four thick volumes, which is very heavy, and it is extremely inconvenient to play with it. However, it is a blessing to have a set of "Sanxitang Dharma", what else can I say?
There are many words in the "Sanxitang Fati" after the Song Dynasty. There have always been two opposing opinions on the development of Chinese calligraphy. One thinks that Chinese calligraphy is worse than Yan Zhenqing, and the other is worse than the Song Dynasty. One thought that the Song Renshu was an important breakthrough. The two kings of the Song people's patriarchy, not confined by the two kings, used the pen freely, showing their respective personalities and styles. Some people have written Jin people all their lives, and read Song people's posts, and Fang Wu used a pen. I think both views are valid.
However, the book of the two kings is like stewed chicken soup, and the book of the Song people is like a good chicken. The stewed chicken soup is the real taste, but when you are used to eating the spicy Sichuan flavor, you feel that you are not addicted to any dishes. If a person "reads" more Song characters, he will not be able to get rid of them for life, knowing that the interest is not high, and there is no way. Then again, how many of the calligraphers who claim to write about the two kings can not go beyond Lei Chi? Even Shen Yinmo, his characters can clearly see the influence of rice characters.
It's too much to write, it's not good, it's easy to be "wild". Write a word in the morning, and have a satisfactory one, it is very good. Sometimes it's not good, and it's awkward. Then put away the pen and inkstone and go out for a walk. Writing is a pleasure, so why bother yourself.
