On April 29, teachers and students of Yuanqu Xincheng Junior High School were visiting and studying in the old revolutionary base area of Chenjiazhuang Village, Guojiazhuang Town, Wenxi County, and receiving traditional education in the Red Revolution. During the activities, the students wore military uniforms, wore military hats, stood in line, watched exhibitions, listened to explanations, and carried out red research activities such as weaving straw shoes, transporting military rations, military national defense education, and battlefield ambulance, so as to experience the life of revolutionary soldiers, feel the strong atmosphere of war in the war years, and the patriotic spirit of the older generation of proletarian revolutionaries who are not afraid of hardships and dangers, are not afraid of sacrifice, fight bloodily, unite and struggle, and move forward bravely.
Chenjiazhuang Village is an old revolutionary base area, "Shanxi Province Patriotism Education Demonstration Base" and "Shanxi Province Party History Education Base". As early as the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the War of Liberation, the Communist Party of China established the Taiyue three prefectural committees, governments and Jilu County Party Committee and county government organs in the village, which is the political, economic and cultural center of the Jiwangshan Revolutionary Base Area, and still retains the former sites of 32 government agencies, known as the "West Baipo" in Hedong.
While inheriting the red gene, relying on the construction of "red village", the old revolutionary base area of Chenjiazhuang Village relies on the construction of "red famous village" to integrate and improve red tourism resources, actively develop red rural tourism, and provide more tourists with an immersive red cultural experience.
