author:Yangpu, Shanghai

In April in Shanghai, the grass grows and the warbler flies, and the green trees are shaded, which is the most beautiful season. Many people choose to go to the wild and take a break for their eyes and soul in an oxygen-rich environment.

In order to enrich the after-school life of children and adolescents in the community and enhance their sense of closeness to nature, recently, Fuxin Road Community Good Neighbor Center and Shanghai Qirui Youth Development Center organized an outdoor outreach activity of the "Guarding the Soul, You and I Walk" Children and Adolescents Mental Health Promotion Group in Huangxing Park, attracting a group of community children and parents to come together and spend an unforgettable spring time in laughter.

At the scene, the sun was shining and the breeze was blowing. Under the guidance of the social work teacher, the parent-child families were divided into several groups in an orderly manner and began the field trip. First of all, the activity entered the tent graffiti session. The children used their imagination and creativity to draw all kinds of cute patterns and words on the tent with colorful paintbrushes. Some painted blue sky and white clouds, some painted flowers and butterflies, and some wrote their wishes and blessings. Each tent becomes a little world in the hearts of children, full of innocence and fun.

In the ensuing walking session, the children held hands and walked along the paths in the fields, admiring the blooming flowers along the way. The pink petals sway gently in the breeze, as if beckoning to children. Everyone excitedly pointed to these colorful flowers and trees, and exchanged their discoveries and feelings with each other. Parents also took out their mobile phones to record this beautiful moment.

At the end of the activity, the children sat around and shared their feelings and gains. Everyone said that through today's activity, they not only felt the beauty and magic of nature, but also learned how to cooperate and communicate with others. Some parents told the staff that such activities are very meaningful and can allow children to learn and grow in a relaxed and happy atmosphere, and hope that similar activities can be held more in the future.
