On April 29, the 2024 Tiexi District Extracurricular Practical Education Base Listing Ceremony was held in Tiexi Xinglong Farm, with 14 new extracurricular practical education bases for primary and secondary school students in the district, and the "Tiexi District Extracurricular Practical Education Base Alliance" was officially established and unveiled, helping high-quality "happiness education" with high-quality off-campus practice, and helping "happiness education" integrate with patriotism, industrial development, and rural revitalization.
At the ceremony, the relevant person in charge of the education system of Tiexi District awarded the plaque to the representative of the off-campus practical education base for primary and secondary school students in 2024. The new practice bases include 14 units, including Liaoning Xinglong Farm, Shenyang University of Chemical Technology New Era Lei Feng Spiritual Education Center, and Tiexi District Garbage Classification and Education Center, which will provide more practical education environment for primary and secondary school students in Tiexi District to get close to nature, experience labor, and feel the history and culture of Tiexi, and drive primary and secondary school students in the district to embrace the world and grow up.
Up to now, there are 34 off-campus practical education bases licensed in Tiexi District. Han Rong, director of the Education Supervision Office of Tiexi District Government, introduced: "These 34 bases cover many categories such as excellent traditional culture, revolutionary traditional education, ideological and political education, national defense education, natural ecology, vocational experience, off-campus reading, labor practice, life and safety education, etc., in order to strengthen red education, promote traditional virtues, inherit excellent culture, cultivate students' physical and mental health, exercise labor ability, cultivate labor spirit, and help cultivate children's innovative practice ability to expand rich extracurricular space." ”
On the eve of the "May Day" holiday, the theme activity of "2024 Tiexiwa Tour in Shencheng" was also launched on the same day. Tiexi District of Shenyang City is rich in history, culture and natural resources, and the education system has always adhered to the development of practical education platforms according to local conditions, combining the depth and vastness of "Ten Thousand Books" with the vividness and broadness of "Ten Thousand Miles", so as to broaden students' horizons and improve their abilities. The relevant person in charge of the Tiexi District Education Bureau said that Tiexi is committed to creating a new sample of off-campus practice education through the "Five Ones" initiative, including: selecting a number of high-quality off-campus practice bases and courses, creating a number of off-campus practice boutique demonstration courses, releasing a number of off-campus boutique routes, selecting a number of off-campus practice model schools, and organizing a series of off-campus practice theme activities.
