The tumor follow-up registration work in Neixiang County has been reported again. On January 18, 2024, the Neixiang County Center for Disease Control and Prevention was awarded the honorary titles of "Outstanding Contribution Award for Tumor Registry" and "Contribution Award for Volume 12 of Incidence on Five Continents" by the National Cancer Center. Since the launch of the tumor follow-up registration work in 2009, our county has conscientiously implemented the Healthy China Action Cancer Prevention and Control Action and the decision-making and deployment of the Party Central Committee and the State Council on cancer prevention and control, and strictly followed the "Tumor Registration Management Measures", from the establishment of organizational structures and the formulation of work responsibilities, to the establishment and improvement of information reporting networks and work processes, the implementation of quality control and assessment and evaluation, and the strict and detailed implementation of various technical programs. Our county has established a mature and perfect county-township-village three-level information reporting network and a multi-departmental collaborative working mechanism, and collects information on tumor incidence and death through multiple channels such as cause of death monitoring, medical insurance information system, poor person (industry early warning) information system, and civil affairs funeral information registration system. Neixiang County Center for Disease Control and Prevention, as the technical support unit for tumor follow-up registration in the county, continues to carry out professional and technical training, business guidance and daily supervision of tumor registration personnel, and continuously promotes the standardization, institutionalization and precision of tumor follow-up registration in our county through quality control, data review and statistical analysis, so that the quality of tumor follow-up registration data has been improved year by year, and has been included in the "China Cancer Registry Annual Report" for more than 10 consecutive years, and the tumor registration data from 2013 to 2017 has been included in the "Incidence Rate of Five Continents" Volume 12 (Cancer Incidence in Five Continents, Volume XII, CI5 XII) was awarded the 2023 "Outstanding Contribution Award for Cancer Registry" and the "Contribution Award for Volume 12 of Incidence in Five Continents" by the National Cancer Center.
