In accordance with the requirements of the "China Tuberculosis Prevention and Control Standards", in order to further improve the management level and service quality of tuberculosis in Pinglu County, from April 7 to 19, 2024, the Pinglu County Center for Disease Control and Prevention provided technical guidance for the tuberculosis prevention and control work of 13 primary medical and health institutions and designated medical institutions (traditional Chinese medicine hospitals) in the county.
The content of this guidance mainly includes home visits to pulmonary tuberculosis patients by primary medical institutions, health education for patients, urging patients to regularly go to designated medical institutions for sputum examination and re-examination, and patients taking medication in a standardized manner, reporting and referral of suspected cases of pulmonary tuberculosis, and screening of close contacts with positive etiology.
The instructors met face-to-face with the grassroots prevention and control workers, discussed in depth the problems encountered in practical work, and put forward some solutions to the existing problems.
With this technical guidance, all primary medical and health institutions are required to carry out tuberculosis prevention and control work scientifically and standardly, provide a strong guarantee for the healthy life of residents in our county, and take solid steps to achieve the goal of ending the tuberculosis epidemic in our county as soon as possible.
