The law enforcement inspection team successively went to the County People's Hospital, the Second People's Hospital, the Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine, the Daqiao Township Psychiatric Hospital, the Chengguan Town Health Center, the Wangdian Town Health Center, the Mashankou Town Health Center and other places to conduct on-the-spot inspections, and through on-site exchanges, access to information, etc., to have an in-depth understanding of the health system's combination of medical care and elderly care services.
On the afternoon of April 9, the Standing Committee of the County People's Congress held a symposium on "Actively Responding to the Aging of the Population and Accelerating the Development of Pension Services" in the conference room on the third floor of the National Health Commission. Wu Qiong, director of the Education, Science, Culture, and Health Committee of the Standing Committee of the County People's Congress, presided over the meeting.
The meeting listened to the reports of the heads of relevant departments and pension institutions, and conducted in-depth discussions on the basic situation, development direction, existing problems and next steps of the current medical and elderly care system construction in our county.
