Linqu County Library is located in Linqu County Service Center for the People, established in March 1978, moved to a new location in July 2021, and officially opened to the public in May 2022, with a construction area of 6,602 square meters. The library has a reading area for teenagers, a reading area for picture books, a lending area for adults, a newspaper and periodical reading area, a reading area for the visually impaired, a local literature area, a special collection area for the Four Libraries, an exhibition hall of the art museum, a leisure reading area, a Nishan Academy, a cultural and creative area and other functional areas.
With the tenet of "readers first, service first", Linqu County Library provides readers with services such as book borrowing, literature inquiry, reading guidance, local literature characteristic services, children's borrowing, display and display, and social education. Under the guidance of the "Scholarly Linqu" brand, Linqu County Library gives full play to the role of the main position of the public library, and organizes more than 160 reader activities such as reading recitation contests, youth reading story clubs, children's poetry recitation contests, keynote speeches, knowledge competitions, weekend picture book story clubs, reading recitation public welfare classes, reading clubs, aesthetic education classes, and traditional culture experiences around World Book Day, library service publicity week and major festivals. Linqu County Library has been rated as a national first-class library, a municipal civilized unit, and a national reading demonstration base in Weifang City, and has successively won the advanced collective of the 3rd Provincial Youth Reading Story Club, the Outstanding Organization Award of Weifang Children's Poetry Recitation Competition, the Outstanding Organization Award of Weifang Youth Reading Story Club, and the Outstanding Organization Award of Weifang Reading and Recitation Competition.
