CCTV News: According to the Central Meteorological Observatory, it is expected that in the next three days, pay attention to the development trend of typhoon "Little Dog" and the impact of wind and rain, and there is a risk of wind disasters in coastal areas of South China and the South China Sea.

Typhoon "Puppies" will affect the southeast coast

This year's No. 14 typhoon "KOINU" (KOINU) this afternoon (6th) from typhoon level strengthened from typhoon level to strong typhoon level, at 5 o'clock in the afternoon its center is located about 200 kilometers southeast of Shanwei City, Guangdong Province in the northeast of the South China Sea, that is, 21.5 degrees north latitude, 116.7 degrees east longitude, the maximum wind near the center has 14 (42 meters / second), the lowest pressure in the center is 955 hPa, the radius of the seven-level wind circle is 180-220 kilometers, the radius of the ten-level wind circle is 60 kilometers, and the radius of the twelfth wind circle is 30 kilometers. It is expected that the "little dog" will move south-west at a speed of 5-10 kilometers per hour, maintaining or slowly weakening in intensity, gradually approaching the coast from western Guangdong to eastern Hainan Island. The Central Meteorological Observatory continued to issue a yellow typhoon warning at 18:00 on October 6.

Affected by Typhoon "Little Dog" and cold air, it is expected that from 20 o'clock on the 6th to 20 o'clock on the 7th, most of the East China Sea and the waters near the Diaoyu Islands, the Taiwan Strait, the northern part of the South China Sea, the coast of Zhejiang, the coast of Fujian and the coast of Guangdong will have winds of 6-8 and gusts of 9-10, of which there will be 9-11 and gusts of 12-13 in some waters along the coast of Guangdong and the northern part of the South China Sea, and the wind in the nearby sea passing by the center of the "little dog" will have 12-14 and gusts of 15-16. From 20:00 on the 6th to 20:00 on the 7th, there will be heavy rain or heavy rain (50-65 mm) in southeastern Fujian and eastern coastal Guangdong. From the night of the 6th to the day of the 9th, there were strong winds and rains in the eastern and southern parts of Guangdong and the coastal areas of central and southern Fujian.

The rain and snow weakened in the western region

From the night of the 6th to the day of the 9th, there was a rainfall process in southern Gansu, Sichuan, Chongqing, most of Guizhou, Yunnan and other places, and moderate to heavy rain in some areas; Eastern Tibet, southern Qinghai and western Qinghai have light to moderate snow or sleet, and local heavy snow.

Specific forecasts for the next three days

From 20:00 on October 6 to 20:00 on October 7, there was light to moderate snow or sleet in the western mountainous areas of the southern Xinjiang basin, southern Qinghai, eastern Tibet and other places; There are moderate to heavy rains in southeastern Tibet, eastern and southern Sichuan Basin, central and eastern Yunnan, central and southern Fujian, eastern Guangdong, southern Hainan Island, western Taiwan Island and other places, among which, there are heavy rains (50~65 mm) in eastern Guangdong and southern Fujian coastal areas. There are 4~6 level winds in parts of central and eastern Inner Mongolia, Liaodong Peninsula and eastern coastal Zhejiang, and 6~7 level winds in parts of central Tibet. There will be northeast winds of 6~7 and gusts of 8 in the Taiwan Strait, and northerly winds of 8~9 and gusts of 10 in the northeastern waters of the South China Sea (see Figure 1).

From 20:00 on October 7 to 20:00 on October 8, there was light to moderate snow or sleet in parts of southwest Xinjiang, south-central Qinghai, northern Tibet and other places, and heavy snow (5~9 mm) in central Qinghai; There are moderate to heavy rains in southeastern Tibet, central and southern Yunnan, central and eastern coastal areas of Guangdong, north-central and eastern Fujian and Taiwan Island, among which there are heavy rains (50~80 mm) in southern coastal areas of Guangdong and southeastern Fujian. Zhejiang coast, Fujian coast, Guangdong coast, the western coast of Taiwan Island have 6~7 level winds, gusts 8. Most of the East China Sea, the Taiwan Strait and the northeastern waters of the South China Sea have 6~8 level winds and gusts of 9~10, of which the Taiwan Strait and some waters in the northeast of the South China Sea have 9~10 level winds and gusts of 11~13 (see Figure 2).

From 20:00 on October 8 to 20:00 on October 9, there was light to moderate snow or sleet in parts of southwestern Xinjiang, south-central Qinghai, and northern Tibet; There are moderate to heavy rains in southeastern Tibet, southwestern Sichuan, central and southern Yunnan, coastal areas of Guangdong and Fujian, and parts of eastern Liaoning, among which there are heavy rains (50~60 mm) in the coastal areas of southern Guangdong. In the southern waters of the East China Sea and the Taiwan Strait, there are 6~8 level winds and gusts of 9~10, and the northern waters of the South China Sea and the northern waters of the Beibu Gulf have 7~9 level winds and gusts of 10~11 (see Figure 3).
