At the age of 17, under the subtle influence of his father, Li Baohua took the initiative to participate in the anti-imperialist demonstration led by his father and witnessed the "March 18" massacre. During this demonstration, Duan Qirui's government (not Duan Qirui) directly ordered the shooting without saying anything, and 47 young people were killed on the spot and more than 200 injured.
After the massacre, Li Dazhao and the CCP regional committee were forced to turn underground, and Li Baohua became his father's correspondent, fighting alongside his father.

After returning to China, he was active in the underground organization of Peiping under the name Zhao Zhensheng, and was transferred to Beijing in 1937, and continued to use the name Zhao Zhensheng until the peaceful liberation of Peiping.
In 1940, Li Baohua returned to his hometown in anonymity but was betrayed, fortunately, the ghost was seen by his fellow villagers when he moved, and he was able to escape the Japanese search. Later, under the persuasion of his relatives, Li Baohua rode a bicycle and left his hometown.

Before and after the "Seventh Congress", he and the young woman Tian Yingxuan met and fell in love and married happily. After the victory of the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, Li Baohua served as the head of the Organization Department and went to the Kuomintang-occupied areas, and resolutely refused his brother's request to stay in the city to work.

Later, colleagues really couldn't see it anymore, and reported it to the provincial government, which made up a small suite for him. After working for so many years, Li Hongta did not smoke or drink, nor did he have any entertainment activities, but he did not even save ten thousand yuan.
Later, the comrades of the investigation team asked Li Hongta's colleagues to learn that li Hongta was active in the annual "sending warmth" and "giving love" activities, and he donated the most every time, not only that, he always helped some poor people, the elderly in welfare homes, and the disabled to do what they could.

He also said that the identity of his fathers brought him not only honor, but more importantly, responsibility, and he should always remember to serve the people.
He said he would send the medal to the memorial hall of his grandfather, Li Dazhao, to comfort his grandfather.
Li Baohua and his sons have Mr. Li Dazhao's nationally known couplet hanging in their homes, and they often sit below to reminisce, ponder, and reflect.

Li Dazhao's eldest daughter, Li Baohua's first sister, joined the Communist Party of China in 1932, insisted on participating in underground revolutionary work for a long time, actively propagated revolutionary ideas, and rescued comrades who were arrested.
Li Xinghua, as the eldest daughter of the family, when her father died, her brother was busy with the revolution, in order to reduce the burden on the family, she could only drop out of school and go home to help her mother support the family. It was not until 1931, when her family's situation improved, that she was able to continue her studies.
In 1935, he joined the Anti-Japanese National Salvation Movement, married his classmate Jia Zhi the following year, and went to Yan'an to teach together.
When she was teaching, she was also keen on literary creation, and she loved literature and successively created works such as "Remembering My Father Li Dazhao", "Bai Folk Tales Collection", "Memories of Sixteen Years Ago" and so on. Li Xinghua died of illness in Beijing in 1979.
Li Yanhua, li dazhao's second daughter and Li Baohua's second sister. When her father died, she was only 8 years old, and she studied hard from an early age, and when she grew up, she engaged in teaching work like her sister, working in Daheituo Primary School and Jidong Jianguo College, and finally transferred to Beijing. She remained in Beijing until her death, when she and her sister died in the same year.

, Li Dazhao's second son. He was only four years old when his father died, and in 1940 he devoted himself to the revolutionary cause, holding a number of important positions, and died in Beijing in 2012 at the age of 89. Li Xinhua
, the youngest son of Li Dazhao. When his father died, he was a toothless baby, never met his father, and was 7 years old when his mother died. Although he has not met his father, he has also inherited the good qualities of his father.
Like his two sisters, he was engaged in the education industry, and he volunteered to volunteer to teach, and he dedicated his life to education, and died in Beijing in 1989.
