"Previously, my wife and I worked and operated in the city centre, so we didn't have much space to garden or make playgrounds for babies. During the popular season, shops are always crowded and private. In the middle of last year, my family had the opportunity to build a small house on the land I bought for a long time, so that there was also more gardening space and a playground for the children," the mom of two shared.

After moving to her new home, Mei immediately began gardening. Remediation of vacant lots, design of gardens and playgrounds, planting of good trees... It is completed in two months, most of which is done by the mother herself. Ms. Mei said: "I leveled the ground myself and divided the beds. My husband and brother helped me build a truss. I asked for my brother's old bricks, so I carried each brick myself to make the yard. I also have an automatic watering system, I watched the Internet myself, and then installed it myself, so the pipe is only more than 400, I only do it when I am free, I do a little bit every day, so slowly the garden is forming every day. Due to self-construction, using many old materials, the construction and maintenance costs are about 3,000.

My mother made sure she didn't have too many difficulties when she first tried gardening. She just spends time thinking about what to plant and how to arrange it. The garden is clean and organic, and no harmful chemicals are used at all, so every night Ms. Mei will catch bugs with a flashlight until 11-12 pm.

The garden covers an area of 60 square meters, including a 34 square meters vegetable planting area, a 15 square meters barbecue area, an 8 square meters children's play area, and a 3 square meters stone lotus planting area. Ms. Mei said that she planted 5 kinds of lettuce, pumpkin, broccoli, 3 kinds of kale, cucumber, cabbage, dragon bean, 3 kinds of pepper, broccoli, spices, eggplant, eggplant, tomato, guava, rosemary, hollow cabbage, butterfly bean flower... There are also lemon basil, peppermint, ginger and other children's medicinal plants...

Children's play areas, in particular, are carefully cared for by young mothers. She said: "My two kids really love sand. But playing with sand is dirty for them, it's hard to clean up, and it's hard to design a sand model for kids. So I came up with an idea. I chose a small stone that had been ground, and it didn't hurt to step on it, and I was old enough not to put a stone in my mouth. To complete the 8-square-meter playground, Ms. Mei arranged the unburned bricks herself, and then laid an old silver plate underneath. Then buy 10 bags of small stones, wash them and spread them on top.

Ms. Mei, who owns a family business and wife and mother, believes that gardening is a relaxing activity that can let go of all your worries. The garden brings a lot of fun and benefits to the whole family, especially the two boys who are at the age of discovering the world.

"Since I made my own vegetable garden, I rarely buy vegetables from outside. The vegetable garden is also where I decompress, where I invite friends to play, where my husband smokes. For my kids, the vegetable garden was a relaxing space. Children can play with gravel without cleaning, just like toys at home, and they can also water the vegetables with their mothers. One day he picked all the little tomatoes and cucumbers. I picked all of my mother's green peppers again. At that time, my mother was very sad, but very restrained, suggesting various things; and the next day, I would not choose that one again, but another one (laughs).

At present, the garden has brought benefits as I wished. In the near future, I will repair a few more places to make the garden more beautiful and bring more benefits to the family and children," she said.
