This small courtyard is 25 meters long from north to south, 18 meters from east to west, in addition to the building of houses and the left walkway, there are almost 4 acres of open space. Under the shadow wall against the gate, there is a row of evergreen holly, and it is this row of holly that makes this small courtyard full of vitality and spring all year round.
On the south, north and east sides of the courtyard are the various fruit trees we planted, and under the roots of the east wall there are cherry trees, walnut trees, pomegranate trees, vine trees, and two ginkgo trees in the middle, when they were planted, only the thumb was thick, and now some have grown as thick as the mouth of the bowl. After last autumn, behind the house of the former neighbor——— the south side of his yard and planted three peach trees that had been bred earlier. In front of the northeast house, there is also an apricot tree that was "rainborn" in the past few years, and now it has grown five or six thick and leafy, which is very fruitful. There are also two pomegranate trees on the left side of the northwest house, which have borne fruit for two years. These fruit trees open according to the seasonal order and bear fruit. See the flowers in the spring, eat the fruits in the summer and autumn, and kill two birds with one stone. Elegant apricot blossoms, delicate peach blossoms, fiery red pomegranate flowers... It's all intoxicating; purple grapes, watery apricots, red and big pomegranates... It's all mouth-watering.
These fruit trees, the most eye-catching is the apricot tree, the tree can grow really luxuriant, some of the branches and leaves can not stand the loneliness has reached out of the wall, attracting passers-by to stop and admire. Every February comes, full of apricot blossoms in the sunshine to open, the bones of the flowers were originally dark pink, opened to become light pink, from a distance, the blossoms of apricot blossoms like a pink butterfly fluttering wings, very good-looking, at this time, you will naturally think of the "apricot blossom branches spring" verse. One night in the spring rain, the apricot blossoms fell to the ground, and the ground was like a pink carpet, very soft. Now it is the season of apricot blossoms, the husband has been impatient, Saturday early in the morning to boil water to prepare tea, eat breakfast with dogs, birds set off, to the hometown, apricot blossoms did bloom some, but most of them are still flower bones, the fragrance of flowers attracted bees. Hanging the birds on the branches, the dogs lying on the ground, moving out of the round table from the house, brewing tea and sitting down to drink tea while watching the flowers and listening to the birds, it really feels like a fairyland.
When it is time for the wheat harvest, the apricots are ripe, and the apricots are hanging from the trees like small lanterns, with a seductive sweet smell, and the branches are bent and are about to fall to the ground, at this time if you lie on the ground, you can open your mouth to eat the sweet apricots. The apricots I received could not be eaten, I always had to give them to my neighbors, relatives and friends, they all said that the apricots on the apricot tree of my family were sweet, and after listening to their words, my heart was also sweet, just the so-called "give people roses, and there is a fragrance in the hand."

In the east, a small piece of radish, sweet potato, melon, etc., the horns are sometimes planted with lentils, loofahs and other things that can climb the eaves, they are like naughty dolls, and the branches crawl everywhere they go. These vegetables are grown according to the solar terms. When the weekend or holiday arrives, bring boiling hot water, prepare tea, bring dogs and birds, and march towards the courtyard. Move the small round table and small wooden chair under the almond tree, brew tea, put on a cool hat, take a sickle or a shovel, a pickaxe head and start working, when you are tired and hot, you will sit under the tree, drink tea while resting while watching the flowers and plants planted in the courtyard, a breeze blowing, very comfortable. Autumn has arrived, seeing the ripe fruits and vegetables in the courtyard, my heart is full of a sense of harvest, and I will share the fruits and vegetables I have harvested with others, and my heart is full of happiness.
The courtyard of my hometown is a garden, an orchard, a vegetable garden, and it is my paradise. She added a bright color to my life and brought me infinite fun.
