Can minors revoke real-name authentication after completing real-name authentication on WeChat? Many fans are asking similar questions, most of them worrying about how to re-register WeChat when their children want to bind their bank cards or have their own phone numbers when they become adults. In the first case, if WeChat has completed real-name authentication but has not bound a bank card, we can enter the wallet and click on the bank card.
When your child has their own bank card, click Add Bank Card, then enter the payment password to bind your child's own bank card.
It should be noted that when you click on the identity information, the name of the bound bank card must be the same as the name used for real-name authentication in order to be successfully uploaded.
In the second case, after completing the WeChat real-name authentication, regardless of whether the bank card is bound or not, if you do not want to continue to use the WeChat account, you can cancel the real-name authentication. Click on Wallet, select Payment Settings,
Then click Cancel WeChat Pay. To cancel a WeChat Pay account, the following conditions must be met: there are no funds in all accounts;
Also turn off any auto-renewal or other services. When these conditions are met, follow the prompts on the page to log out.
The third situation is if you don't want to continue to use this WeChat account and want to transfer it to someone else, or your child is using the account now, but the real-name authentication information belongs to you.
At this time, it is also possible for children to change their real-name authentication information to their own and bind their own bank cards so that they can consume without letting you know. Select the identity information in the wallet and click Change real name on the page.
Before the real-name change, there are a few requirements that need to be met, just like canceling an account: you need to withdraw all the funds in the account to the bank card and close the services that have been activated.
After meeting the requirements, follow the prompts to upload the identity information of the person who needs real-name authentication and the bound bank card information to complete the real-name authentication.
