Stop drinking these "prolactin soups"! Fattening does not promote lactation, and has long been on the blacklist of nutritionists

After the baby is born, many mothers want to breastfeed and let the baby eat the healthiest and most nutritious food. However, some mothers have encountered the problem of late milk and little breast milk after giving birth, and milk chasing has to be put on the agenda.

When it comes to prolactin, many people will immediately think of crucian carp, pig's trotters, and confinement wine, which are three kinds of prolactin "god soup", and I believe that mothers have drunk at least one, and even to this day, when they hear the name of the soup, there will be an inexplicable feeling of nausea.

After I gave birth, I also had the problem of insufficient breast milk, and my mother either stewed crucian carp or boiled pig's trotter soup every day. At first, I could still take two sips, but after a long time, I really couldn't swallow a mouthful, until now I want to vomit when I hear the name. Whenever I refuse to drink soup, my husband will enlighten me next to me: "If you don't drink soup, you don't have enough breast milk. ”

Looking at the sleeping baby and looking at the oil soup in my hand, I had to pinch my nose and pour it into my mouth. At that time, I once doubted the efficacy of prolactin soup, is it really as magical as the legend? Later, I looked through a lot of parenting and nutrition books to learn that these so-called prolactin soups really did not live up to their names. It has even been on the blacklist of nutritionists.

Let's take a look at which divine soups have been blacklisted by nutritionists

1, crucian carp soup, pig's trotter soup, etc

When it comes to postpartum prolactin, the first thing that comes to mind is pork trotter soybean soup, crucian carp soup, rib soup, and of course chicken soup. In fact, the mother has just experienced childbirth, the body consumption is very large, the gastrointestinal function has not been restored, and the breast glands have not yet been unobstructed, it is not advisable to eat greasy and irritating food, and should eat a little light and easily digestible food.

The second is that lactating mothers need balanced nutrition and cannot just drink prolactin soup, after all, these soups do not have scientific evidence that they can prolactin. Don't think that the boiled prolactin soup is white and thick, it must be very nutritious. The reason why these prolactin soups are so white is because of the emulsification effect of fat and protein, the whiter and thicker the soup, the higher the fat content, and drinking will only grow meat, will not increase milk.

2. Confinement wine

Mothers in the north drink more pig's trotter soup to prolactin, and mothers in the south are estimated to drink the most monthly wine. Confinement wine is rice wine or rice wine, and the alcohol content is low, generally around 20%. Mother drinking some confinement wine in moderation does have the effect of temporary breast milk, but it does not cure the symptoms.

After the mother drank the confinement wine, the blood circulation of the breast glands accelerated under the stimulation of alcohol, accelerated the speed of milk flow, and gave the mother an illusion of breast milk, in fact, the production of breast milk did not increase.

The key is that confinement wine not only does not play a role in prolactination, but also has a negative impact on the baby's health. After the mother drinks confinement wine, alcohol will enter the baby's body through breast milk to stimulate the brain nerves, resulting in abnormal excitement or drowsiness of the baby, and serious will also affect the baby's intellectual development.

Since prolactin soup doesn't work, how should a mother prolactin?

1. Early opening of milk

As the saying goes, "a good start is half the battle", and the same is true of breastfeeding. When we finish secreting, the amount of lactation hormone secreted rises rapidly, and the body is ready to secrete milk. The earlier the postpartum milking time, the sooner the body can receive the signal of "the baby drinks milk", basically as long as two or three days to meet the baby's milking needs.

The later the milk is opened, the later the body receives the signal, and the amount of breast milk hormone secretion will gradually decrease. A decrease in the secretion of prolactins can lead to late milking and low breast milk.

2. Correct breastfeeding posture

Whether the mother masters the correct way of breastfeeding is also a key to prolactination. Common breastfeeding positions are lying feeding, rugby, lying on the side, and cradle. Moms have to learn it so they don't need it.

In addition, whether the baby's milk position is correct is also the key to the success of breastfeeding. When breastfeeding, the larger the area of milk in the baby, the less the mother suffers.

3. Balanced nutrition

Studies have found that breast milk is made up of 95% water and 5% protein, so mothers must drink more water during breastfeeding. In addition, the baby's physical development needs protein, fat, carbs, vitamins, minerals and other nutrients, so the mother is required to eat more types of food and nutrition should be balanced.

4. Massage

Before and after breastfeeding, the mother can also gently massage the chest for a quarter of an hour, which has a good effect on unclogging the breast and accelerating the blood circulation of the breast. It should be noted that the pressure should be gentle when massaging, not too much or too hard. Secondly, using a towel to warm compress before breastfeeding also has a good prolactin effect.

5, good mood

Many mothers have to take care of the baby after childbirth, but also to manage the housework, physically and mentally exhausted, more or less will have a bit of postpartum depression problems. Mothers are in a bad mood, mental depression will inevitably lead to abnormal hormone secretion of the body, and breast milk secretion will also be affected. Therefore, nursing mothers must maintain an optimistic attitude and a happy mood.
