Su Shi (8 January 1037 – 24 August 1101), courtesy name Zizhan (字子瞻), also spelled Hezhong (字和仲), was a Tieguan Daoist and a resident of Dongpo, known as Su Dongpo and Su Xian , of Han ethnicity, from Meishan , Meizhou ( now part of Meishan , Sichuan Province ) , whose ancestral home was Luancheng , Hebei , and was a famous writer, calligrapher, and painter of the Northern Song Dynasty.

In the second year of Jiayou (1057), Su Shijin and the first. During the reign of Emperor Shenzong of Song, he served in Fengxiang, Hangzhou, Mizhou, Xuzhou, Huzhou and other places. Emperor Huizong of Song was granted a general amnesty to the north, and died of illness in Changzhou on the way. Emperor Gaozong of Song posthumously gave him the title of Taishi (太師) and his courtesy name was "Wen Zhong".

Su Shi was a literary leader in the middle of the Northern Song Dynasty, and achieved high achievements in poetry, words, prose, books, and paintings. His poems are broad in subject matter, fresh and bold, good at using exaggerated metaphors, unique style, and huang Tingjian and called "Su Huang"; his words are open and bold, and he is a representative of the Haofang faction with Xin Shuyi, and is called "Su Xin" [4]; his prose writings are rich and luxurious, and he is called "Ou Su" with Ouyang Xiu, one of the "Eight Greats of the Tang and Song Dynasties". Su Shi is also good at books, one of the "Four Houses of the Song Dynasty"; he is good at literati painting, especially ink bamboo, strange stones, dead wood and so on. Su Rui (苏辙) (18 March 1039 [1] – 25 October 1112), courtesy name Ziyi , was a chinese poet and an elderly man of the late Yingbin Dynasty. A native of Meishan, Meizhou (present-day Sichuan). Northern Song Dynasty writer and prime minister, one of the "Eight Great Masters of the Tang and Song Dynasties".

In the second year of Jiayou (1057), Su Zhideng Jinshidi was the first secretary of the provincial school and the military governor of Shangzhou. During the reign of Emperor Shenzong of Song, because of his opposition to Wang Anshi's change of law, he was appointed as a retainer in Henan. Since then, he has served in zhang fangping, Wen Yanbo and others. After Emperor Zhezong of Song ascended the throne, he entered the positions of Right Counselor, Yushi Zhongcheng (御史中丞), Shangshu Right Counselor (尚書右丞), and Menxia Shilang (門下侍郎), and was dismissed from Zhiru Prefecture (知汝州) because of his letter of advice, and has since been demoted several times. When the chancellor Cai Jing was in power, he then descended to the court to ask for a doctor, so he sent a taizhong doctor to shi and built a room in Xuzhou. In the second year of Zhenghe (1112), Su Rui died at the age of seventy-four, and was posthumously restored to the Duan Ming Temple, Xuanfeng Dafu. During the reign of Emperor Gaozong of Song, he was given the title of Taishi and Duke of Wei, and Emperor Xiaozong of Song posthumously honored Wending.

Su Rui was named after his father Su Xun and brother Su Shi, and was collectively known as the "Three Sus". His life and learning were deeply influenced by his father and brother, and he was known for his prose, and he was good at political and historical theory, and Su Shi said that his prose was "a wang yang, with a singing and three sighs, and his xiujie spirit must not be lost." His poetry strives to follow Su Shi, his style is simple and unpretentious, and his literary style is less than inferior. Su Rui is also good at writing, and his calligraphy is elegant and orderly.
