Recently, Report Auto obtained a set of spy photos of Ford's new SUV from relevant channels. Although the exterior of the new car is wrapped in a tight camouflage coating, from the road test photos, the new car should be a mid-size SUV.
The outline of the new SUV is somewhat similar to Ford's Lingyu, Ruijie, Lingrui and other cars, referring to the style of these cars, the new SUV should still adopt the traditional family design.
In the front part of the car, through the camouflage gap, you can faintly see that the grille part of the new car seems to adopt a large mouth design, and the interior is supplemented by a dot matrix structure as a decoration. As for the headlight groups on both sides, they cannot see the whole picture, and they cannot judge their shape for the time being, but it seems that they have not adopted a split design. In addition, two separate daytime light tubes can be seen under the hood.
From the side, the body does not adopt a slip-on design, which belongs to the more traditional SUV shape. The body line is relatively straight, and the internal seat arrangement is suspected to be three-row in terms of length. The side doors are designed with hidden door handles that reduce wind resistance, and the wheel hubs are blackened for a more sporty feel.
At the tail, the overall outline is rough. The change in camouflage coating shows that the size of the new taillight set does not seem to be very small, and a spoiler has been added to the roof. As for the power and interior parts, there is no information at present.
The models of the new car are currently controversial, and some foreign media analysis believes that it is the successor model of the American version of Mondeo. However, considering that the current domestic Ruijie models are about to be replaced, the possibility of the next generation of Ruijie is not ruled out.
