Qingwei | the pride of the poet

Qingwei | the pride of the poet

People who have been to the provincial city of Jinan must go to Daming Lake. Walking along the north shore of the lake all the way to the east, you came to the Lixia Pavilion, just on both sides of the south gate of the Lixia Pavilion Island, there are books: Hai right this Pavilion Ancient, Jinan Mingshiduo. The plaque hanging on the door is made of several large golden characters of the Qianlong Emperor's imperial book "Lixia Ancient Pavilion", which is particularly dazzling. This is the history of a city, which represents the humanistic accumulation of a city. Nowadays, mr. Zhu Duojin is undoubtedly one of the outstanding contemporary Shandong poets.

"I live, I write poetry. I'm dead, my poems are alive! This sentence often haunts my ears, reminding me what kind of person I want to be and what kind of work I want to write. The person who said this is an ordinary person, and he is a special person. He is Mr. Zhu Duojin.

"I cannot change my mind and conform to the vulgar, but I will be miserable and poor." In today's society, there are very few people who look up at the stars, and Mr. Zhu should be counted as one. His life was a bumpy life, but also a colorful life, as the name suggests. Many of his works will shine in the more distant years, as Mr. Yang Zheng of the Provincial Academy of Social Sciences commented: "He may still be relatively lonely today, but behind him, there may be more and more people who evaluate him, study him, respect him, and recognize him." ”

There are also poetry critics who say that Mr. Zhu Duojin is a marginalized poet, although this statement is debatable, but there is not necessarily anything wrong with it, "a writer should turn his back on the literary world and face the reader", a real poet is not the case. Mr. Zhu once said that "writing is a destiny, not a division of labor", he regards writing as a kind of fate in his next life, and what he advocates has always been free writing. In 2005, Mr. Zhu's poetry seminar attracted the participation of hundreds of poets and poetry critics from inside and outside the province, and a monograph dedicated to the grandeur of the seminar, "Quanlin Huiyu", is very poetically influential at present. Mr. Zhu, who "hates the fate of the article", the rich and noble cannot write good works, are content with poverty, and Mr. Zhu, who "faces the wind and the river, and the broken shirt is like a banner", will be the most abundant reward given to him.

Qingwei | the pride of the poet

As an ordinary literature lover, I have been engaged in writing for several years, I have had certain experiences and gains, and I have not yet formed my own literary creation characteristics and theories, although I have a little bit of insight, it is difficult to write, and I am ashamed. When it comes to writing poetry, for me, it depends entirely on the emergence and epiphany of inner emotions, and I always feel that there are no routines and techniques to speak of. In recent years, I have listened to two lectures on poetry creation, one was in the winter of 2012, Professor Li Yeping, editor-in-chief of Shandong Literature Magazine, gave a speech at the invitation of "Jinan's Winter and the Fourth Symposium on Short Literary Creation", mainly talking about the poet's compassion and the social groups that poetry cares about and the social responsibility of poets. The second time in the winter of 2013, Zhu Duojin, the editor of the Shandong Literary Poetry Edition and a famous poet, conducted a poetry creation training in the "Shandong Province Young Writers Creation Seminar" in Linyi, where he talked about the charm of poetry and the creation of poetry tension fields. He spoke in the old man's house for more than two hours, and I didn't seem to understand it. In particular, Elder Zhu talked about the unfathomable metaphysical theory of poetry creation, nor is it like some people advocate that poetry is the benchmark of literature and art, as long as the author writes his own characteristics from the heart, and reflects the poet's backbone, he will definitely achieve something. I am deeply inspired and taught on this point. He then criticized the kitsch of poetry, and was very disgusted with the official body, the sheep body, the ah-ah body, and so on. He believed that officials who did their jobs well were better than anything else, and did not insist on writing poems and books to humiliate Sven; of course, officials who had the ability to write beautiful poems were also valuable. He mentioned a parent official in his hometown, and after hearing about Elder Zhu's service in the famous national literary magazine "Shandong Literature", he sent someone to contact him, asking Elder Zhu to pay attention to his poetry, and hoped that his poetry works could be published in Shandong literature, and said that sponsorship and even things like Elder Zhu's hometown were easy to say. As a poet, everyone has the freedom to write poetry, but to publish works in Shandong literature, you must pass the pass of Zhu Lao. The fact is that not a single word of the parent official in his hometown was published in Shandong literature, and the self-righteous leader who failed to impress the poet's pride disappeared from politics a few years later.

What is the pride of a poet? In ancient China, there are many stories of maintaining personality and maintaining integrity, and Tao Yuanming's "not bending his waist for five buckets of rice" is one of the most representative examples. Tao Yuanming, a great poet of the late Eastern Jin Dynasty, was a celebrity, and his great-grandfather was the famous Sima Da. When he was young, Tao Yuanming originally had the ambition of "great help to the cangsheng", but in the turbulent years when the country was on the verge of collapse, Tao Yuanming's ambitions could not be realized at all. In addition, he has a straight personality, is clear and honest, and is unwilling to bow his knees and climb to the magnates, so he has a sharp contradiction with the dirty and dark real society, resulting in incompatible feelings. In order to survive, Tao Yuanming initially worked as a petty official in the state, but because he was not accustomed to the bad style in the official field, he soon resigned and returned home. Later, in order to live, he also successively took some low-status official positions and lived a life of hidden time. Tao Yuanming's last official was in the first year of Yixi (405). In that year, Tao Yuanming, who had passed the "year of not being confused", was persuaded by his friends to serve as the commander of Pengze County again. Once, the county sent a postmaster to find out the situation. Someone told Tao Yuanming that it was a person sent from above, and he should be dressed and respectfully greeted. Tao Yuanming let out a long sigh after hearing this: "I don't want to pay tribute to these guys in a low voice for the sake of the five buckets of salary of the little county order." After saying that, he resigned from his official position and went home. Tao Yuanming was the order of Pengze County, but it was more than eighty days. He abandoned his post this time and left the official field forever. Tao Yuanming died in poverty and illness. He could have lived comfortably, at least with food and clothing, but that would have come at the cost of personality and integrity.

Qingwei | the pride of the poet

Tao Yuanming gained the freedom of the soul and the dignity of the human personality because he "did not bend his waist for five buckets of rice", and wrote a generation of poetry that has been passed down for hundreds of generations. While leaving valuable literary wealth for future generations, it also left a precious spiritual wealth. Because of the high wind and bright festival of "not bending the waist for five buckets of rice", he became a model for future generations of people with lofty ideals in China. Such a story happened to Zhu Lao, and at first I was very dismissive. When you think about it, there is a very profound truth in this. Elder Zhu should pay attention to his hometown, and it is natural for his hometown to pay attention to Elder Zhu; the hometown leaders who can write poetry must have a certain level, and they should also ask for Elder Zhu; as others looking for a way to get the leader is still afraid of not being able to find it, let alone the leader taking the initiative to come to the door? Elder Zhu's attitude is very resolute, that is, the scale of literature, that is, the responsibility as an editor. Literature is a masterpiece, especially in the country's unique publication "Shandong Literature", which must not be a little false. During dinner in the evening, it happened that I had the privilege of eating with Elder Zhu. Also at the table were Teacher Che Fengyin, vice chairman of the Youth Writers Association, and others. Teacher Che Fengyin had more contact with Elder Zhu, and he introduced Elder Zhu's achievements and personality charm to the literary friends who dined at the same table in detail. Looking at Elder Zhu up close, it gives the impression of an ordinary skinny old man. If they met elsewhere, who would know that he was a famous poet and a famous editor? Elder Zhu was amiable, everyone ate and chatted, it was very pleasant, and Elder Zhu's personality charm and approachable style remained in my memory.

From the heart, it is when objective existence appears in subjective consciousness, forming rational or perceptual thinking, which will catalyze a certain emotion once it collides with our inner things or perceptions and reacts. Poetry is a vehicle for presenting this emotion from the inside out. Even narrative poetry and philosophical poetry cannot lose the word "emotion". Joy and sorrow, love and hate, and so on. Whatever the mood, at least let the reader touch it. Zhu Lao's poetry is like this, which can quickly inspire people and attract people. Zhu Lao believes that the production of a poem is inseparable from inspiration, inspiration is distant perception, is a person's heart or soul suddenly appeared in a certain unique cognition, sensitive people to capture it, slow people let go. Inspiration, or the hint of the gods, the poet must have a sensitive nerve in order to obtain it. So, inspiration is personal and unique. The task of a person who really writes poetry is not to invent words and create language, you can borrow the words and phrases created by your ancestors and present your unique inspiration, and you will achieve the effect. As for how you present itself, it all depends on your cultural accumulation and understanding. However, this is not the main factor. For example, his poem "What Is Man":

What is a man—"

People don't seem to be anything

The whole body of phosphorus can only make 220 matches

The whole body fat can only make six pieces of soap

The lime matter of the whole body can only disinfect one chicken coop

Sulfur throughout the body

Only fleas on a dog can be killed

The iron of the whole body can only hit one nail

There was also a handful of salt and a cup of sugar water

And a little bit of nitrogen

If you make it into gunpowder

A small cannon can be placed

All of them are calculated, and the market value is only one dollar

- This is what a chemist said

He's right, but he knows it or not

Only people think of "what is a person"

Only people think that "people don't seem to be anything"

Can you think of phosphorus that can make 220 matches?

Can you think of six pieces of soap fat?

Can kill a dog

Can the pinch of sulfur of the fleas think

Can the iron that hits a nail think?

Can you think of a glass of salt and sugar water?

What a man counts

But God knew him

What a man counts

But God cared for him

What a man counts

That's phosphorus-fat-calcareous-sulfur-iron

There is also a handful of salt for a cup of sugar water

And that little bit of nitrogen

Passed by the hand of God...

But who is God?

……

What a man counts

People can just think of "what people are"

"Who is God" is a kind of thing

People can think that "people don't seem to be anything"

The result is nothing short of it

The author says that this (first) modern narrative poem was written from September 2007 and was not completed until the end of 2010. In the process of writing, what he wanted to do was to change the way traditional narrative poetry was written, so that he could introduce a new way of modern narrative poetry creation. The role of inspiration in a poem is undoubtedly absolute. What a shame it would be if poetry lacked novelty and a personal sparkle!

It has been almost ten years since Elder Zhu left this world, and now I look back on Elder Zhu's creative experience, how sincere and simple. And how honest and true his speech was. Who can be so tireless? Who can cultivate people with such compassion? I have been associated with poetry for a long time, but what really awakened a poetic heart that has been sealed for many years is because of my understanding of Mr. Zhu, my nostalgia for Mr. Zhu and my thinking about life.
