Chuan Ubisoft is developing a Overwatch-style PvP competitive game

Tom Henderson, a well-known source in the industry, said today that 8 sources have confirmed that Ubisoft Bordeaux French Studio is currently developing a brand new game, which in the new game test emails sent out in recent days, the game has been described by Ubisoft as an "innovative modern PvP combat competitive game". Let's take a look.

Code-named "Project Q," the new game first appeared in the NVIDIA GeForce Now database leaked in September 2021, but was later removed. Project Q opened its first game test today.

The game has two modes, one known as showdown mode, which uses a "battle royale" gameplay in which there are four teams of two people each. The second mode is called "Battle Zone" mode, which is the game's Arena Battle mode, in which there are two teams of four players each, and the player needs to reach 100 points to win. The goal of Battlezone mode is to control an area of the map for as long as possible, somewhat similar to Call of Duty's Hardpoint mode.

Players can choose their hero's weapons, abilities and skills in the game, and players can also choose 3 individual "Wonders" (Wonders) to use to mix and match. The weapons in the game are not the traditional assault rifles and submachine guns, including playing cards, fireworks, hammers, sticks, and spray guns, which can deal damage to the enemy. You can also choose from other unique abilities and abilities, such as Wings of Icarus, which allows you to jump and fly through the air.

Tom Henderson has seen the game's footage, but has been asked to keep it a secret, and the game's graphics art style is similar to EA's Ball Wins Base Camp or Activision's Overwatch. It also gives us a rough idea of what Ubisoft wants to make the game look like. It's worth noting that Ubisoft is currently working on several other different battle royale games, including the yet-to-be-announced battle royale game called Pathfinder.
