Overwatch 2 technical beta begins on April 26, and players are already digging for content. One player even made a side-by-side comparison video showing the map differences between overwatch 2 beta and overwatch.

Posts on Blizzard's official forum joked that Overwatch 2 was a "glorification update," and another reviewer called it a "test server." While it's not that Blizzard hasn't made changes to the gameplay, the problem is that the Overwatch community has high expectations for this "sequel."

One fan joked that Overwatch 2 took place six hours after the original. Some jokes on Twitter and Reddit suggest that Overwatch 2 looks like a "Mexican filter" for Breaking Bad.

However, all the graphics are now based on test suits, and the current Overwatch 2 is not yet the final version. Between now and 2023 release, developers still have time to make significant changes to the game.

Blizzard's developer blog notes that the test suit "focuses primarily on gameplay, balance, and stability," and that all other incomplete features are "work in progress." The blog specifically notes that it will include changing sky, a feature that has not been publicly tested.
