"Diablo 4" unveiled the first season "Plague Demon Season", which started on July 21
Blizzard Entertainment released information about the first season of "DIABLO IV" "Demon Season" today (7th). "Plague Season" will start on July 21 at 1 a.m. Beijing time.
The Season continues the tradition of the Diablo series, where players must create a new character at the beginning of the Season and start a new Season journey from scratch. Leveling up a new character doesn't require starting from scratch, and both the fame gained from exploring the map and the buffs found through Lilith's Altar will be retained. If the mount has already been unlocked, the new character can also be used immediately.
If your original character (a character created during a non-season, which Blizzard calls "Eternal Domain") has already cleared the main story, then the Season character can choose to skip the main story and go directly to the Season's questlines and mechanics. If you have not cleared the main story, you can also choose to complete the Season character and continue the Season's Mission Line as well.
As in the past, at the end of each season, all characters will be transferred to the Eternal Realm for players to play at any time. Blizzard expects four seasons a year, so after the first season starts, it won't change to a new season until about the end of October.
The first season will bring a new story, with the Plague monsters ravaging the entire land, bringing new scourge. Players join forces with former priest Comon to stop the spread of the Plague at all costs.
By defeating corrupted, elite-level monsters, players can earn a new gem, the Demon Heart, which can be used to create new powerful combinations. Plague Tunnels around the world will encounter more corrupt monsters and will be a great place to collect Plague Hearts, but there are also new bosses waiting for players. Plus, there's 6 new unique items and 7 new Legends in the Season.
This season is a multi-chapter objective system, and each chapter completed will be rewarded. Several chapters will provide players with rewards to earn bounties and accumulate progress towards the Battle Pass.
That's right, the last is the "Battle Pass", players can play normally or choose to purchase the pass service, as long as they complete the level of the Battle Pass can get rewards. The Battle Pass also offers free tiers, where all players can earn season bonuses to speed up their progress. Players who purchase a paid tier will also receive exclusive Battle Pass styling items.
According to foreign media reports, the first Battle Pass includes 27 free classes and 63 paid classes, for a total of 90 levels. 1000 Platinum coins are required to unlock the paid tier, which only unlocks cosmetic equipment and platinum.
