Although the beta version of Overwatch 2 has only been open for three days, plug-in players have already begun using cheats such as target bots to disrupt the experience of other players.

In a video shared by Twitter account Anti-Cheat Police Department, a player demonstrates the effects of wallhack while using Solidier: 76 on a training ground.
"The Overwatch 2 plug-in is out," Tweeted, "hopefully they're officially detectable and won't last long, and I really hope Blizzard's anti-cheating department has some good plans in place to address the cheating issue, otherwise Overwatch 2 will just be an uneven playing field, like Overwatch 1." ”
This video isn't the only evidence that the plug-in cheated into beta, with another player sharing a video of Overwatch 2's gameplay experience. In the video, a player named Jennifer uses cheatware to lock in targets, making it impossible for players to play against them.
Evidence of cheating in beta has left many players wondering how Blizzard will fix this and whether Overwatch's anti-cheat features have been updated in beta. Although the plug-ins are notoriously stubborn and will most likely continue to open plug-ins or gain financial benefits in future Overwatch 2 beta and final full versions, the majority of players still hope that Blizzard can quickly solve the worst plug-in problems and severely punish plug-ins.
