An anonymous player said that after installing Cobalt Solutions' Call of Duty: Warzone plug-in, a virtual folder was automatically created to hide the mining program, he was stolen $900 in one day, and provided a picture: the antivirus program fully scanned and marked the Cobalt plug-in and showed that the program can be used for mining.
The news was also forwarded by the official Twitter of Warzone, which officially said: "Most open-hook players do not realize that by installing plug-in software, they have given plug-in vendors full access to their computers." The head of Cobalt Solutions later came out to deny it, saying: "If anyone can give concrete evidence, I will personally close the studio and give $20,000 to the person who provided the evidence."
