On April 19, Mercedes-Benz's new EQS pure electric SUV was officially unveiled and will be launched in the Chinese market in the second half of this year. The EQS pure electric SUV continues the "bow body" design of EQ pure electric products in appearance, the front face is replaced with a large-size closed grille, and the interior is decorated with the Xinghui logo; the side is equipped with hidden door handles with large-size multi-spoke wheels; and the tail adopts the popular through-channel taillight design. The interior of the car adopts a 7-seat layout, equipped with MBUX super-screen, supporting multi-seat interconnection. The new car is also equipped with active steering at the rear axle, which further optimizes the driving experience.
The new EQS pure electric SUV is more dominant than the BMW iX, and the second row is equipped with electric adjustment seats as standard, and the 3rd row of seats can be equipped with two additional independent seats, which provides plenty of space in the car. In terms of power, the new car is equipped with a rear axle motor as standard, and the dual-motor model is equipped with a permanent magnet synchronous motor at the front and rear, with a maximum output of 400kW and a peak torque of 858N·m. In terms of endurance, the new car has a cruising range of up to 660 kilometers under WLTP conditions.
