After the tuning upgrade, its maximum power reached 621Ps, the peak torque was 800 Nm, and the torque was fully output at 2000 rpm.
The XB7 offers 91 Ps and 50 Nm higher than the X7 M60i, respectively, and has a wider torque output platform, which is a great improvement for an original car.

The drivetrain is still matched with the 8AT gearbox, with an acceleration time of 0-100km/h of 4.2 seconds and a maximum speed of 290km/h. Under the WLTP standard, the comprehensive fuel consumption of 100 kilometers is only 13.7 liters, which is a large SUV weighing 2.73 tons.
In response to the increase in power, Alpina replaced the XB7 with a 2.1-inch twin turbo, as well as a larger intercooler and transmission oil cooling. Stainless steel exhaust sound waves have also been adjusted and a COMFORT+ mode has been added to enhance the calmness of high-speed cruising.
In terms of chassis, the XB7 still provides the characteristics of BMW's high-performance SAV. The frame stiffness is enhanced, and the shock absorbers are equipped with adaptive damping, as well as biaxial gas springs and active anti-roll bars, and offer a maximum rear wheel steering angle of 2.3°, combining sport and comfort.
The XB7 is based on the appearance of the X7, and the large encirclement is very low-key relative to its power performance. The chrome trim strips throughout the car have been blackened and the body is homochromized to enhance the overall texture. Although the interior of the new XB7 has not yet been announced, according to the old model, the ALPINA nameplate in the car will be available everywhere, the central control key is made of exclusive "Crafted Clarity" crystal glass, and the UI interface of the iDrive system will be replaced by the classic dark blue.
The XB7 is also very particular about the materials, the roof is made of Alcantara, the seats are made of LAVALINA, and the trim is decorated with piano paint and peach wood. Of course, Alpina also supports deep personalization, and users can match the materials themselves.

The XB7 starts at €170,500 in overseas markets, while the X7 starts at €97,700 (about RMB 674,900), which is 57% more expensive.
Then the price of the reference domestic X7 is 100.00-169.80 million yuan, and it can be expected that the domestic price of XB7 will be at least 1.57 million yuan.
In fact, Alpina also entered the Chinese market before, but the market response was not good, and finally withdrew from the country. At present, Alpina's main markets are in Europe, Japan, North America and the Middle East, compared to Alpina's low-key introverted, most Chinese people still prefer the hardcore BMW M Power.
