In terms of intelligent driving, although the official did not give a specific information description, we can still predict it from the existing data we have.
According to the official display, the automatic driving system of Avita 011 adopts Huawei Inside (Huawei HI) intelligent car solution, the system is equipped with a supersensitive system and a supercomputing platform, and its perception hardware system includes 3 lidar, 6 millimeter wave radar, 13 cameras and 12 ultrasonic radars, to achieve point-to-point ADS assisted driving covering all scenarios of urban, high-speed and parking.
First of all, Huawei's automatic driving system is a ADS automatic driving full-stack solution, that is to say, the entire automatic driving system from hardware to software is provided by Huawei itself, so the compatibility of the system is very high, and the fault tolerance rate is greatly reduced.
From a hardware point of view, the 3 laser radars equipped with this model may be Huawei's 96-line medium and long-range mirror hybrid solid-state lidar, using a 1550nm wavelength light source, with an angular resolution of 0.25° X0.26° and a horizontal vertical viewing angle of 120° x 25°, and the distance of the measurement reaches 150m (target 10% reflectivity), which can achieve urban pedestrian vehicle detection coverage and high-speed vehicle detection capabilities, which is more in line with the scene under complex domestic road conditions. In addition, the new car has 6 millimeter wave radars in the front and rear of the car, but its model is not known whether it is the newly released high-resolution 4D imaging millimeter wave radar. At present, this 4D radar adopts a super configuration of 12 transmission channels and 24 acceptance channels, achieving a precision of 1 degree horizontal resolution and 2 degrees vertical resolution, while the measurement accuracy is greatly improved to the level of 0.1 degrees, which is 24 times higher than that of traditional millimeter wave radar.
It can be said that 4D millimeter wave radar inherits the excellent ranging and speed measurement capabilities of traditional millimeter wave radar, is not affected by light and rain and snow weather, and the unique detection ability advantages of non-line-of-sight obstructed targets, while greatly improving the resolution, while evolving a 4D high-density point cloud like lidar, which can bring rich perception enhancement applications, such as environmental portrayal, composition, positioning, etc., and can also better achieve 360 ° detection of vehicle circumference through the point cloud level fusion of multi-radar. 4D imaging radar will serve high-end autonomous driving together with high-line lidar and high-definition cameras, but whether it will be installed remains to be demonstrated.
In addition to the high-quality sensor solution, the central computing unit of the new car may use the ADCSC central supercomputing domain controller developed by Huawei's ADS department, and its computing power will reach 400 Tops, which is not the same as the intelligent driving computing platform MDC launched by Huawei in the past two years. ADCSC is equivalent to a domain controller designed for ADS in Huawei's intelligent driving product line, which has strong domain control specificity, high computing power, and comprehensive performance exceeds MDC.
So from the basic information point of view, Avita 011 basically has L3 or above the level of automatic driving, but it is still too early to determine, and it is necessary to publish detailed information later to make a conclusion.
On the power side
Avita 011 is positioned as a pure electric coupe SUV, based on the intelligent electric networked vehicle platform (CHN) jointly developed by Changan Automobile, Huawei and CATL, with batteries provided by CATL and Huawei providing three electric parts.
