This can't help but make people start to question: entry-level pure electric scooters are becoming more and more expensive, compared with entry-level fuel vehicles at similar prices, who is more worth buying? Today, let's calculate the economic account together.

For the electric vehicle round of price increases that lasted for several months, although many people have been mentally prepared, because from the fourth quarter of last year, more and more manufacturers can not withstand the pressure of rapid cost increases and have made various actions, but for the entry-level pure electric car price increase, it is still a bit unexpected.

Based on this, in order to get objective results, we respectively selected three popular pure electric cars: Wuling Hongguang MINI EV, Changan Ben E-Star and Chery Ant, to compare with the same car company's price of the same fuel car, because the price difference is not much (the actual price gap is within three or four thousand yuan), the gap in insurance costs is relatively small, so we focus on the main aspects of car prices, taxes, maintenance, energy consumption, second-hand car discounts and so on. As for the indiscriminate and regular expenses such as parking fees and car wash fees, it is even more important not to consider.

At the same time, we take the 6-year car cycle and drive 20,000 kilometers per year as the unified car standard. In the energy consumption cost, because the local electricity price is not completely consistent, and some places do not have the difference between the peak and the trough electricity price, so we simulate the home charging pile mainly, occasionally outside the commercial charging pile charging, the comprehensive electricity price is calculated by 0.63 yuan / kWh; as for the fuel vehicle, although the current oil price is at a high level, but do not rule out that there will be certain fluctuations in the future, so we only calculate according to the price of No. 92 gasoline 8 yuan / liter, which is about 0.8 yuan / liter lower than the current price, which is relatively fair and objective.

Based on the above conditions, the total cost of a car is the sum of the vehicle price, purchase tax, maintenance, energy consumption, vehicle and vessel tax minus the residual value of the used car price.

Since the state is currently exempt from purchase tax and vehicle and boat tax on electric vehicles, the tax is 0, which is a win on the starting line. As for the maintenance cost and the residual value of the second-hand car, we are also calculating according to the reference data given by the relatively authoritative third-party website in China.

First of all, let's look at the Wuling Hongguang MINI EV Enjoyment Edition (170 km version) priced at 44,800 yuan, and the Baojun 310 manual comfort type with a manufacturer guidance price of 42,900 yuan, which now has a 2,000 yuan discount on the terminal. As can be seen from the following table, even if the purchase tax is added, the purchase cost of Baojun 310 is lower, but the cost of fuel in 6 years is as high as 58,000 yuan, which is more than one digit more than the electricity bill of Hongguang MINI EV, and finally calculated, Wuling Hongguang MINI EV has saved 57,000 yuan compared to Baojun 310 in 6 years.

But the difference is also reflected in the energy consumption, Yuexiang 6 years of oil money around 60,000 yuan, than the Ben E-Star electricity bill of 51,000 yuan higher, plus purchase tax, maintenance, vehicle and ship tax and other aspects, the total cost of choosing Yuexiang for 6 years is finally 61,000 yuan more.

Finally, we look at the Chery Small Ant Sweet Powder model priced at 69,900 yuan, and its comparison object is the Siberian version of Tiggo 3X CVT, which is also chery's Tiggo, because it is a new car that has recently been listed, and the terminal has no discount for the time being. But the conclusion is the same, Tiggo 3X has spent enough money on fuel money to buy a new car, and the final cost gap between the two is more than 63,000 yuan.

Whether it is 40,000, 50,000 or 60,000 models, the figures are relatively close, and at this point, the conclusion is actually very clear.

Three pairs of similar car prices, after 6 years of use, the final cost gap is around 60,000 yuan, the purchase of cars are saved, which is tens of thousands of cost-sensitive scooters (or buy vegetable cars), is the decisive decision-making factor. Therefore, even if they all rise, and the amplitude is not small, the comprehensive cost of electric vehicles is still significantly lower.

Of course, we should also see that the above result is based on driving 20,000 kilometers per year, if the mileage is only half, then the cost gap between the two will be reduced accordingly, because it is mainly the high fuel cost that dominates all this.

However, some people may ask, you need to change the battery in the later stage of your electric car, why doesn't the cost take into account? In this regard, we look at it in two ways.

The first is the warranty period, in the most critical three-electric system warranty this piece, Wuling Hongguang MINI EV and Changan Ben E-Star are 8 years 120,000 kilometers, Chery Ant is the first owner unlimited years / mileage, that is to say, any car is in the warranty period, as long as you are not human factors to cause battery damage, replace the battery does not need to spend material costs.

Taking a step back, in case you really encounter any situation, after 6 years, you have to pay for the battery yourself, then, according to the battery of the above three cars, how much will it cost? The battery of Wuling Hongguang MINI EV is about 14 kWh of electricity, the entire battery pack costs about 18,000 yuan, and the batteries of Changan Ben Ben E-Star and Chery Little Ant are all 31 kWh of electricity, which costs about 40,000 yuan.

That is to say, the cost difference of about 60,000 yuan that we came up with earlier is more than enough for a set of batteries. What's more, we have not considered several additional factors: one is that the waste battery still has recycling value; the other is that the battery technology is developing rapidly, and the price of the battery with this energy density will only be lower after a few years; it is not necessary to say that after you change the new battery, continue to open a few years of real money and silver.

In the words of a friend, since it is a pure scooter tool car, I honestly drive, how about using it for ten years, and the money saved in ten years is enough to change to a higher-level car? Even if the battery ends up with only half the endurance, isn't it enough for me to buy a dish in the last shift?
