The announcement said that the recent shortage of upstream raw materials and the limitation of vehicle and parts production capacity have led to a longer delivery cycle of the model. In order to better serve the subscribers, it is scheduled to suspend the collection of orders for the E-Star National Edition model from 00:00 on April 25, 2022.
Among them, for users who have previously ordered through officially designated channels, the company will coordinate production resources to meet the scheduling plan of existing orders and ensure that the users who have booked cars pick up the car as soon as possible.
It is reported that Changan Ben E-Star is positioned as a micro electric vehicle, there are currently a number of models on sale, of which the national version of the model involved in this time is equipped with different battery packs, a total of 5 configurations, the lowest model price of 29,800 yuan, endurance of 150km, length of 3.73 meters, five doors and five seats layout. In terms of power, the Changan Ben E-Star National Edition is equipped with a permanent magnet synchronous motor.
According to the data, the sales volume of Ben E-Star in March 2022 was 10,707 vehicles, accounting for 71.13% of Changan New Energy's share, which was lower than the 100% share of Chang'an New Energy in January and February 2022.
It is worth mentioning that not long ago, Changan New Energy announced that the price of its model Ben Ben E-Star National Edition colorful model will be adjusted, and the official guidance price of the model will be raised by 4,000 yuan from 00:00 on April 1.
