Start the detection of the appearance of the details, in the corner of the headlight can see the residue of the front bumper spray paint, and the fixing screws and plastic cards have been disassembled, the gap between the fog light frame and the bumper is not closed, it can be determined that the front bar has been disassembled and repaired, but the surface is not all painted, so there is no replacement situation.
The left front fender is painted with sheet metal at the brow position, the thickness of the paint surface is 630μm, and the thickness of the original factory should be about 140μm, which is also an easy place to scratch, and the problem is not big.
Under the illumination of the glare flashlight, the left rearview mirror can see the flow paint, which is relatively rough, and it is estimated that it is the work of apprentices.
There is local spray paint on both left doors, and the paint thickness is 348 μm and 398 μm, which should be caused by ordinary scratching. The rotation position of the left posterior fender has also been painted with sheet metal, but the area is not large, and it does not hurt the inner skeleton, which is not an accident.
The left C pillar is also painted with sheet metal, and the repair length is greater than 8cm, which is determined according to the national standard, which belongs to the general accident car! But in the actual used car trade, this injury is nothing! Although the C-pillar also belongs to the body structure, it is divided into three layers of structure inside and outside, but only a layer of iron sheet metal on the outside, which has basically no impact on the rigidity of the car body, and if it is cut, it belongs to the major accident car, and it can be passed directly.
The original rear bumper reversing radar seal is paintless and is now covered with white paint, so the rear bumper is also painted for repair.
The right rear tail lampshade has a broken crack, but it is not completely damaged by the air leakage, if you do not care about the beauty can continue to use, if you care about it, you have to replace it, change the original factory parts to 1000-1300 yuan, and the auxiliary factory parts are only five or six hundred.
The paint on the right side of the body is slightly better than on the left side, with only two small sheet metal on the right rear fender and the right rear door. The paint surface of the whole car is not a big problem, five years of car, bumps and bumps are normal.
Do you see the date the front windshield was made? There is a row of small black dots in the middle and a number 7, 7 for the year, 2007 or 2017, the black dot represents the month, before the number is subtracted by 7, after the number is subtracted by 13. Now we see that there are 6 points in front of the 7, then its manufacturing date is January 2017, which is one month earlier than the vehicle factory time, which is in line with the assembly process, and there is no rear sealing glue on the inside of the glass, so it is determined that the glass is original.
Open the front cover and see that the engine compartment has been renovated, and it sells well. This car is equipped with a 2.0T turbocharged engine, the maximum horsepower is 245 hp, the maximum torque is 350 Nm, this data is not lost to the 34C of the BBA of the same era, but the 6at gearbox is a bit of a drag! Although the 8at was reseated in the later period, it was difficult to reverse the decline.
The cover fixing screw has no disassembly and twist shift marks, and there is no orange peel pattern on the inside paint surface, combined with visual inspection to determine that the cover is the original factory accessory. This also excludes a serious accident at the front, after all, the cover is only supported by two hinges, and the force of the collision is slightly larger and will be deformed and damaged.
The shock absorber tower top and fender stiffeners on both sides have no deformation tapping and cutting welding marks, and the paint thickness meets the original factory standards, which can eliminate the impact accident on both front sides.
The two longitudinal beams did not twist and deform and cut and weld, and the accessories around the beam head were not disassembled and assembled in a large area, which once again confirmed that there had been no major accidents at the front of the car.
Not to mention the big accident, the headlights on both sides are intact, the manufacturing date is also in line with the vehicle assembly procedure, the screws are not disassembled, and the interior is not damaged, which shows that the front of the car is very well protected.
Looking at the engine body, the foot screws are not disassembled, and the rubber sleeve is not aging and cracking, which can be determined as the original parts. Since the feet are not disassembled, there is certainly no possibility of hoisting and repairing the engine.
The top valve chamber cover has also maintained the original state, and there is no oil leakage phenomenon in the gap, indicating that the engine is in good working condition. Generally, for cars with a long age or a large number of kilometers, the valve chamber cover pad will be excessively worn and lead to oil leakage, so as to dismantle and repair, german cars are the most common.
The transverse engine can generally see the transmission foot from the cabin, the vertical position needs to be observed from the chassis, and the gearbox foot screw of the car has not moved, and it can be preliminarily determined that the gearbox is not hoisted.
In terms of the size of the central control screen alone, this interior is outdated! And this is a low-end car, there is no bright configuration, to meet the daily needs is no problem. Generally observe a lap, feel that the degree of wear of the seat and steering wheel and the apparent mileage do not match, this is still the car dealer has prepared, if not prepared, it must be more serious than this.
From the maintenance record, it can be intuitively seen that this car has driven more than 107,000 kilometers in June 2020, and now it has been almost two years, and the actual mileage is more than 130,000, and the table is less than 60,000, at least the semi-tonal table, which can be bargained accordingly, but it cannot be cut down much.
There is no accident concern, let's focus on whether the interior is soaked. Starting from the steering column, the naked eye can see that there is no abnormal rust and grinding marks, the fixing screw is not moved intact, or the original car is in the factory state.
The main driver's seat screw is the same, did not move, the bottom of the seat skeleton has slight rust, but it is not caused by blisters, this situation is generally the manufacturer did not do anti-rust treatment, daily car washing did not dry, the air is humid caused.
The main driving seat belt was produced in February 2017, the date is no problem, the screws are not removed, there is no rust and sediment attachment in the card slot, everything is normal.
After coming to the aftermarket workshop of the car dealership, after lifting it up, the chassis layout looks very regular, but it seems to have oil leakage, let's see where it is.
Look closely, found that the engine oil droplet shell in the oil seepage, has not been disassembled and repaired, 130,000 kilometers of use, this slight oil leakage has been considered good, the impact on the continued use of the car is not large, the later can be observed more, serious if the repair, is to replace the oil pan shell rubber pad, even with a thousand dollars of material.
There are no signs of disassembly and disassembly of the screws connected to the engine gearbox, which once again confirms that there is no hoisting of the engine gearbox.
The valve cover of the gearbox also has oil leakage, the problem is not big, replace the sealing gasket, a total of six screws, three or four hundred dollars can be done.
Look at the front and rear suspension, the left front vertical tie rod rubber sleeve is damaged and leaks oil, and it needs to be replaced immediately, at a cost of two or three hundred yuan. The two rear shock absorbers also have slight oil leakage, but they do not affect the use at present, and more observations are made in the later stage.
The whole car tires were replaced in 2020, and the current degree of wear is small, saving two thousand pieces!
It is time to summarize again, this Taurus has no major accidents, blisters, fires, the appearance of many spray paint, of which the left C pillar damage sheet metal, belongs to the general accident car, but does not affect the use; the engine gearbox did not decompose maintenance, but there is some oil leakage; another kilometer number of meters to adjust the table; the overall condition is more general, there are many small problems, big problems are not. Such a car condition is not that it cannot be bought, but the price is a matter of high or low, and you get what you pay for.
At present, the market is 130,000, and the car dealer has opened a very conventional 130,0002, the meaning is obvious, the fraction of these two thousand is used to bargain for you, and then make a million pieces with tears! In fact, this is all a conscience, after all, car dealers also have store operation and maintenance costs, vehicle maintenance or something, not making money is impossible to do business.
The car condition is clear, the market situation is also clear, whether to buy this car, it depends on the customer's own wishes! In fact, used cars are not very satisfactory in most cases, more or less there are some problems, before buying a car, it is best to correct the mentality, in advance to make psychological expectations, especially the first contact with second-hand cars friends. In this way, there will not be too much gap, and it is more conducive to successfully buying a satisfactory car, after all, buying a car is the ultimate goal, not spending money to buy lessons.
