BYD Seal is the second model of the Ocean series based on the BYD e platform 3.0 pure electric platform. The length, width and height of this model are 4800mm, 1875mm and 1460mm respectively, and the wheelbase is 2920mm. At present, the Tesla Model 3 of this level of fire has a size of 4694mm, 1850mm and 1443mm, and its wheelbase is 2875mm, which has an advantage in size by BYD seals.
Why compare with the Tesla Model 3, in terms of appearance, the style of these two cars and their similarities, both show toughness, sport and dexterity. In terms of power, BYD SEAL has three power versions, namely the motor version with a maximum power of 150 kW, the motor version with a maximum power of 230 kW, the front motor with a maximum power of 160 kW, and a dual motor version with a maximum power of 230 kW. The electric version, which is expected to have a maximum power of 230 kW, is the main sales version. Lithium iron phosphate blade batteries will be on the upper body of BYD seals. The Tesla Model 3 on sale has two versions to choose from, one is 194KW (single motor) and the other is 357KW (dual motor). If BYD Seals benchmark tesla Model 3, this power setting is matched with some of the taste of horse racing.
BYD Seal is equipped with wide temperature range high efficiency heat pump air conditioning, which is a blessing for pure trams, and the mileage can be increased by 20% in winter. Equipped with bydie Seal application eight-in-one electric powertrain, it integrates the drive motor, transmission, drive motor controller, vehicle controller (VCU), battery manager (BMS), high and low voltage DC converter (DC-DC), two-way vehicle charger (Bi-OBC), high voltage distribution module (PDU) in one, and is full of materials on the three-electric system.
In the mechanical part, BYD SEAL has a rear-drive/four-drive force architecture, a front double wishbone + rear five-link chassis suspension, and has a zero-hundred-fastest acceleration capability of 3.8 seconds. This set of chassis suspension and power equipment, BYD Seals' sporty attributes and driving texture should be guaranteed, and there is a basic capital to challenge tesla Model 3.
BYD Seal is currently in the final testing stage, originally planned to be officially unveiled at this year's Beijing Auto Show, and officially listed within the year, the price range is expected to be around 220,000-280,000. Although BYD has not yet given the interior drawings, if according to the current release of the power part and exterior design, coupled with the fiery blade battery blessing, this price is still worth looking forward to.
