| Adjustment of scoring for common traffic violations

For driving a vehicle that does not match the quasi-driving type, 12 points will be deducted and 9 points will be deducted
When you pick up a handheld phone by car, 2 points are deducted and 3 points are deducted
If the inspection pass mark is not pasted, 3 points will be deducted and no points will be deducted
1. Adjustment of traffic violations/illegal demerit points
| Speeding rules are relaxed
Motor vehicles driving on highways are 3 points below the prescribed minimum speed record.
6 points are deducted for speeding 20% to 50% on high-speed and urban expressways, and 12 points for speeding above 50%.
Driving school buses, medium-sized and above passenger and cargo vehicles, and dangerous goods transport vehicles driving more than 50% of the required speed on roads other than highways and urban expressways has been changed from the original 12 points to 9 points.
According to the current maximum speed limit of 120km/h in the expressway section, the maximum speed limit of the highway section can be driven up to 143km/h after the implementation of the new regulations, and no score is required.
| Lowering the scoring penalty (common)
The school bus was adjusted from 6 points to 3 points for not avoiding it;
Driving a motorcycle without wearing a safety helmet is adjusted from 2 points to 1 point;
Violation of the prohibition line is adjusted from 3 points to 1 point, and the driver temporarily stops to pick up and drop off passengers or make a U-turn in the road section, which greatly reduces the cost of violations caused by driving mistakes;
The number plate that is not hung according to the regulations is adjusted from 12 points to 3 points, such as not using 4 screws to fix according to the regulations, which avoids the problem of direct zeroing of the score;
In addition, the penalty score for failure to review the car according to the prescribed time and not wearing a seat belt has also been adjusted to 1 point.
| No more demerit points for these behaviors (common)
Obtaining a motor vehicle driver's license by concealment or deception;
Driving a motor vehicle that is prohibited from entering the highway into the highway;
Driving a motor vehicle through an intersection without driving or stopping in accordance with regulations;
The motor vehicle has not placed an inspection pass mark or insurance mark, and has not carried a driving license or a motor vehicle driving license with the vehicle.
| New deduction items (common)
In place of the actual driver of a motor vehicle, 12 points are deducted at a time if they accept penalties and demerit points for traffic violations for economic gain.
Drivers of trucks that have changed the registered structure, structure or characteristics on the road without authorization shall be deducted 1 point at a time.
| Increased scoring penalty (common)
Driving a passenger car with more than 7 seats carrying more than 50% of the authorized number of people but not reaching 100% will be raised from 6 points to 9 points.
Driving a motor vehicle to illegally stop on a highway or urban expressway will be raised from 6 points to 9 points.
Driving a motor vehicle that interferes with safe driving, such as making or receiving handheld telephones, will be raised from 2 points to 3 points.
2. Adjustment of the scoring management system
| Measures to reduce points for studying the law have been implemented nationwide
The traffic management department will implement the system of deducting points from the study of the law, and for those who participate in the study of road traffic safety laws, regulations and related knowledge and pass the examination, or participate in the traffic safety public welfare activities organized by the public security traffic management department, and meet the conditions for deducting points, they can deduct points from the accumulated points, and a maximum of 6 points can be deducted in a scoring cycle.
| Adjust the examination system for studying with full marks
For drivers who have scored 12 points many times in a scoring cycle, considering that their awareness of active compliance with the law is poor and their awareness of safety and civilization is insufficient, the traffic management department will further strengthen the management education of these drivers by extending the learning time and increasing the number of examination items, and urge them to strictly abide by the rules and regulations and drive safely.
