IT House March 23 news, CDPR recently officially announced that a new "Wizard" game is in development, opening a new chapter for this series, and will migrate from REDEngine to Unreal Engine 5, and start a multi-year strategic partnership with Epic Games.
According to former CDPR employee Bart Wronski, there's another reason for the new The Witcher engine. He said that for every new game in the past, the studio basically rewrites REDEngine from scratch, hoping that it will be better than before, but due to the tightening of the development cycle, the rewritten engine has not been able to achieve the desired effect. So this time, the studio chose Unreal Engine 5, which has a solid foundation, to avoid repeating the mistakes of the past.

In another tweet, Bart Wronksi further elaborated on the implications of rewriting the engine from scratch, confirming that many of the engine's core features were rewritten between The Witcher 2 and The Witcher 3, The Witcher 3 to Cyberpunk 2077.
IT House learned that the new "The Witcher" game has not yet revealed more information, CDPR confirmed that the game will not be exclusive to Epic, and released a poster with a badge of a suspected cat school, which is called the new Lynx School (Bobcat School).
