According to CDPR's latest company profile, Cyberpunk 2077 remains the company's development focus. A chart presented as part of the conference shows that the vast majority of CDPR developers are working on upcoming Cyberpunk 2077 extensions and have a smaller team providing ongoing support for the game through patches and fixes.
That's far more than the number of teams working on the next game in the Wizarding series. Even after the game was officially announced in March, the development team remained small, which meant it would take us a while to really understand the game.
CDPR clarified this after the presentation was made public, as the initial presentation claimed that most of the developers were working on The Witcher's next game. The company was quick to explain that this was not the case, and that most of its employees were still working on the next Cyberpunk 2077 extension.
