Nineteen years ago, Geert Helen gave birth to a seemingly ordinary called Jackpot, with the ring number BE04-6090039. At the time, no one could have predicted that this pigeon would have a great influence on many pigeon fanciers in the future.
Jackpot won a 1st Ace Pigeon Young Birds 2004 as a young bird, winning 7 first prizes. He then moved into the breeding loft and has since become a renowned super breeder.
In 2007 Jackpot was the first youngster of Blauwe Gert, who later helped Steven Lambrecht set the tone for speed, and the son of Blaude Geert paired to Van Rock was the son of Olympic Rosita, who won the title of Olympiad Pigeon Nitra 2012 and National Ace Pigeon Sprint Super Pigeon in 2012, followed by Rosita and Kittel, 1st Nat. Ace Pigeon KBDB 2013, thus starting a legendary Kittel dynasty.
Jackpot is also the grandfather of Queen New La Souterraine, who won the title of 1st Nat. Ace Pigeon Longer Middle Distance Young Birds KBDB 2017 for Jelle Rondier, BE. Queen New La Souterraine is now an important breeder in Jelle Longier's loft again.
The last son of Jackpot was bred by a daughter of Olympic Shakira, 1st Olympiad British Ace Pigeon Sprint 2022 (raced by Sean MacDonald).
Jackpot is the sire of Jackie 3, the daughter of the Jackpot family, a family of hat-trick descendants of numerous first prize winners.
Jackpot has been a great history, and many of its descendants have become some of the most important breeders in the loft of fanciers.
