On March 21, Changan Automobile's brand new car, Changan UNI-V, was officially launched.
A total of four models with four configurations will be available, priced at CNY 108,900 to CNY 131,900.
At this point, Changan Automobile's "KTV" series models have all arrived.
The reason why in the title of the article, I used the four words "price butcher" to describe Changan UNI-V, because from the perspective of the entire parameters, Changan UNI-V can be said to be quite a bright spot.
In fact, Changan's models have always had advantages over other competing models of the same level in terms of configuration.
No wonder, in the eyes of many people, Changan Automobile is the "millet" of the automobile industry.
For the design of Changan UNI-V, I don't think it is necessary to introduce it too much. Because this car follows the family design of Changan UNI series models, we are already very familiar with it.
From the outside, the new car is still very young and sporty. Like Trumpchi Shadow Leopard and MG6, Changan UNI-V should be for young consumers.
In terms of body size, the length, width and height of the new car are 4680/1838/1430mm, and the wheelbase is 2750mm.
Let's take a look at the configuration of Changan UNI-V.
The 108,900 entry-level model is equipped with a 10.3-inch full LCD dashboard, a 10.3-inch central control LCD display, 360-degree panoramic image, navigation and road condition information display, Internet of Vehicles, OTA upgrade, full-speed adaptive cruise, built-in driving recorder, Bluetooth remote control key, engine start-stop, remote start, front keyless entry, sports-style seats, automatic air conditioning, front and rear radar, hidden door handles and exterior mirror locks.
It is worth mentioning that even the entry-level Version of Changan UNI-V is still equipped with 6 ultrasonic radars and a millimeter wave radar.
This is indeed rare in traditional fuel vehicles.
Priced at 116,900 yuan, the premium version of the model adds paddle shifters, fatigue driving reminders, gesture control, facial recognition, three-finger flying screen, wireless charging of mobile phones, electric adjustment of front seats, 64-color mood lights, electric spoilers, power sensing trunks and position memory functions.
The 123,900 yuan sport model adds fur seats, variable exhaust sound waves and sporty appearance kits.
The top 131,900 yuan smart pilot type is equipped with parallel assist, lane keeping assist, traffic sign recognition, reversing side warning, automatic parking, remote control parking, SONY audio, on-board air purifier, PM2.5 filter device, induction wipers, adaptive near and far lights.
The number of ultrasonic radars increased to 12 and the number of millimeter-wave radars to 5.
However, variable exhaust sound waves, fur-turned seats and sporty look kits have also been eliminated.
In terms of power, the entire Changan UNI-V model is equipped with the same 1.5T turbocharged engine as the second-generation Changan CS75 PLUS, which is matched with a 7-speed wet dual-clutch transmission. The maximum power is 188 hp and the maximum torque is 300 Nm.
Judging from the current market performance of Changan Automobile's UNI series models, it is not eye-catching.
Changan UNI-K and Changan UNI-T sold 4,040 units and 3,839 units in February, respectively.
Among them, Changan UNI-K fell by 17.8% month-on-month, and Changan UNI-T fell by 44.47% month-on-month.
I don't know if the listing of Changan UNI-V can bring new hope to the revitalization of the Changan UNI family.
