Xuji Town, a villager, is a large apple and pear planter, and has been planting apples and pears for 45 years, with a planting area of more than 30 acres and more than 700 trees. In 2023, the income from planting apples, pears and rice will be more than 200,000 yuan, and the income from apple pears alone will be 120,000 yuan. At present, the village has a total area of 60 hectares of apple and pear planting, 18,000 trees, and 8 large planting households.
"Revitalizing idle resources and developing traditional culture is the 'magic weapon' for our village to get rich." Zhang Xinyu, the first secretary of the village, said. The century-old residence of Beixing Village is the oldest and best-preserved Korean residence in Longjing, with a history of more than 140 years, and is a provincial key protection unit. In order to effectively protect, develop and inherit the cultural resources, in 2022, the village will introduce Yanbian Buxian Mountain House Cultural Tourism Co., Ltd. through investment promotion, build a rural revitalization of Beixing Village Korean folk culture industry development project, and rely on the renovation and upgrading of existing houses and the addition and expansion of courtyards to develop a comprehensive tourism project integrating Korean characteristic homestays, ecological planting and breeding, parent-child experience, independent picking of fresh fruits, and health care bases. At present, the first phase has renovated 7 idle houses and renovated 6 self-owned houses, and is expected to complete the interior decoration of the houses in June this year and officially put into operation.
In the Ganoderma lucidum artificial cultivation demonstration planting base in Beixing Village, farmers are busy watering and fertilizing the Ganoderma lucidum that has just broken the ground and sprouted, presenting a busy scene.
It is understood that the Ganoderma lucidum planting project in Beixing Village is invested and constructed by Longjing Beixing Technology Ganoderma lucidum Planting Co., Ltd. At present, the construction of 90 Ganoderma lucidum greenhouses and supporting facilities has been completed, and 130,000 bags of fungus bags have been processed last year, with an output value of 3 million yuan. At the same time, through the development of farmhouses, apple and pear picking, etc., more than 200 farmers have been linked to farmers, and more than 10 people have been attracted to return.
With the multi-point flowering of industrial development, Beixing Village has achieved a "counterattack". In 2023, it will attract 15,000 foreign tourists. The collective income of the village reached 521,000 yuan, and the per capita income reached more than 17,400 yuan. Let farmers achieve doorstep employment and earn money all year round.
