According to the financial report, Porsche's operating income in 2021 was 33.1 billion euros, an increase of 4.4 billion euros from the previous fiscal year, an increase of 15% year-on-year. Profit from sales was EUR 5.3 billion, an increase of EUR 1.1 billion from the previous fiscal year. Porsche reported a 16.0% return on sales in FY2021.

In the 2021 fiscal year, Porsche's global net cash flow increased by EUR 1.5 billion to EUR 3.7 billion. This means an increase in Porsche's profitability. It also empowers companies to invest in electrification, digitalization and sustainability. Porsche wants to achieve a return on sales of at least 15% per annum in the long term.

Last year, Porsche delivered nearly 40% of new vehicles in Europe, including plug-in hybrid and all-electric models. To achieve its goal of being carbon neutral by 2030, Porsche expects electric model sales to account for half of overall sales by 2025.
