On March 17, Audi officially announced the official rendering of the Audi A6 Avant E-Tron concept car, which is based on Audi's high-end electric platform PPE, which is the second pure electric model launched by the A6 series after the previous A6 Sportback E-Tron concept car. It is reported that the mass production model of the car may be officially launched in 2024.

The front face of the Audi A6 Avant E-Tron retains the Hexagonal grille design of the Audi family, but because it is a pure electric model. The car features an enclosed air intake grille, except for the L- and U-shaped air intakes at the front face. Multiple other functional air intakes form an air curtain to improve the vehicle's aerodynamics during driving. The car is equipped with flat matrix LED headlights that have become popular in recent years, and its biggest surprise is that it can provide a picture projection function. When the vehicle is in a stopped state, the driver can project the game screen inside the car onto the wall, use the headlights as a projector and play the game in the car. According to Audi, the technology is not just in the concept stage, it will be installed with the production model.
From the side, the car has an aluminum kit that covers the A-pillar, roof sides and rear spoiler, further enhancing the car's sense of luxury. The concept car also features large 22-inch wheels, which look sporty with a lower and flatter body. The rear of the car is equipped with a small spoiler out of the roof and a penetrating 3D taillight below. The shape of the diffuser at the bottom is very exaggerated, which makes the car's athletic performance worth looking forward to.
It is reported that the new car will provide two different power combinations of single motor and dual motor. The dual-motor version has a total output of 469 hp (350 kW) and a peak torque of 800 Nm. Although Audi did not announce the size of the car's battery, it is reported that it will carry a 100 kWh battery. Its 270 kW DC charging technology can charge the battery from 5% to 80% in just 25 minutes.
