The domestic BMW X5 is no longer a mystery, a few days ago BMW officially held an online car watch live event, and its Chinese BMW X5 long-wheelbase model also debuted! The Ta that unveiled the "red cap" does not look much different from the imported version of the X5 (G05) in appearance, but after entering China, the localization consumers' requirements for the wheelbase of the body, Ta has a length of 130mm. Ta's other configurations have also been exposed for the first time.
In December 2021, the domestic BMW X5 long-axis version was officially declared in the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, and the fastest listing time was set for the Beijing Auto Show in April 2022. At present, BMW's official has also updated the relevant configuration information of the domestic BMW X5, the new car and the imported version, can also provide xDrive 30Li M sports suit / premium M sports suit, xDrive 40Li M sports suit / premium M sports suit 4 models, and provide carbon black, sapphire blue, mysterious gray, ore white, ferris gray, quantum blue car paint and other multi-color paint.
Under the appearance and sports kit of the imported BMW X5, the domestic BMW Brilliance X5 L will come with a classic double kidney grille, as well as a slender LED headlight set plus the front and rear surround of the M kit. The difference is that Ta's lower encirclement light group adopts an inverted L shape, which should also indicate Ta's domestic elongation identity. In addition, there are differences in details, such as the design of the lower bracket is slightly different, and the chrome trim and the current M set/X design set also have details differences. The new car will offer an optional M Performance component, including M blue brake calipers representing high performance.
Most of the tail looks indistinguishable, except that the elongated words "BMW Brilliance" and "Li" have been added in the lower left corner in order to show Ta's elongated domestic identity. The logo on the right becomes xDrive40Li/xDrive30Li. It is estimated that the small partner who buys this car will directly "cut the mark" to deal with it.
In terms of size, according to the previous declaration information, the length, width and height of the new car are 5060, 2004, 1779mm, and the wheelbase is 3105mm. In addition to the 130mm increase in both length and wheelbase, the height has also increased by 3mm. Such data directly reaches the level of the new imported BMW X7.
The interior configuration has also been exposed, including BMW's latest crystal trio equipped with iD7 system, full LCD instrument, sports M steering wheel, chrome trim strips for the center console, knurled solid wood trim panels, BMW's exclusive crystal gears, crystal multimedia knobs and crystal one-button start buttons. The difference with the imported version is that the double cup holder has become a single cup holder, and the other position has become the wireless charging function of the mobile phone. And on top of the cup holder, the X5 logo has been added.
Also added are the diamond-shaped trim on the seats in the car, and the use of Sensafin synthetic leather, which is different from the imported Vernasca leather.
In terms of power, the domestic BMW Brilliance's new X5 L will be equipped with two engines of the B series 2.0T L4 and 3.0T L6, of which the xDrive30 Li has a maximum net power of 180kW and a rated power of 200kW; the xDrive40 Li has a maximum net power of 245kW and a rated power of 272kW.
