Emergency response mechanism reflects "Shenzhen speed"

Ms. Mo, 32, has been pregnant for more than 37 weeks, at 2 a.m. on March 13, her amniotic fluid broke, there was irregular contractions, the family rushed her to a nearby hospital, because Ms. Mo has sore throat, runny nose and other symptoms, the hospital arranged her to the fever clinic and collected nucleic acid.

At noon on the same day, Xia Junxia, director of the obstetrics department of the Shenzhen Third Hospital, called to tell Ms. Mo that she had tested positive for nucleic acid and needed to go to the emergency hospital of the Shenzhen Third Hospital to produce, and the emergency hospital had put in preparation for her.

At this time, Ms. Mo learned that she had a positive initial screening and that her CT value was lower than 33 (the double-site test result was O27.10; N 25.77, respectively), indicating that her risk of transmission was high. "When the mother did not know that she was positive for nucleic acid, her condition had already gone from the CDC to the hospital where she was treated, and then notified us, and the emergency response mechanism was activated very quickly, reflecting our Shenzhen speed." Xia Junxia said.

"I didn't expect her to be positive at the time, because I do nucleic acid every day and I always have to be negative." Ms. Mo's husband, Mr. Mu (pseudonym), said that when he learned of this result, the whole family was very flustered.

At this time, the Shenzhen Municipal Third Hospital has launched an emergency plan for the emergency delivery of pregnant women with new crown for Ms. Mo, including obstetrics, neonatology, ultrasound, hospital infection, equipment and other departments to "escort" the baby's birth. Since it was not certain at the time whether Ms. Mo would have a vaginal birth or a caesarean section, the delivery room on the 9th floor of Building A of the headquarters transported all the equipment and materials needed for the vaginal delivery and caesarean section to the emergency hospital area and filled a full truck.

Subsequently, first-aid supplies, newborn radiation tables and supplementary supplies in the operating room were successively put in place, Ms. Mo herself wore N95 masks, and all the medical staff involved in the operation wore three-level protection and positive pressure head covers and performed surgery in the negative pressure operating room.

Nasopharyngeal swab tests negative for newborn babies

At 14:56 on the same day, Ms. Mo was sent to the emergency hospital area and quickly admitted through the green channel. The surgical team performed a cesarean section for Ms. Mo, and Ms. Mo successfully gave birth to a healthy baby girl weighing 3 kilograms.

The baby is just born and the nasopharyngeal swab test is negative. Wang Yanrong, director of the Department of Neonatology of the Third People's Hospital of Shenzhen, introduced that the baby still needs to be isolated for observation for 14 days, and after two consecutive negative nucleic acid tests, it can be determined whether she is infected with the new crown.

At present, Ms. Mo is in good postpartum condition and is isolated and treated in the emergency hospital. Since the baby was not in the same room as the mother, the nursing department arranged for the neonatal nurses to form a special nursing class to care for the baby throughout the whole process, buy a bath tub for her, feed her milk, and change diapers.

Mr. Mu said: "The medical staff is very hard, I wore a few hours of protective clothing on the afternoon of the 13th has been very uncomfortable, but they wear so much equipment to my wife for surgery, so that the baby can be born smoothly, now the baby is all right, can eat and sleep, I really appreciate the medical staff." ”

In Shenzhen, when the pause button was pressed and the "static brake" was pressed, the new students brought hope, and all the medical staff in the emergency hospital were happy for the arrival of the baby. Mr. Mu revealed that the baby's nickname is Rui Rui, which means Xiang Rui.
